My husband is in the same boat but with a higher balance due to grad school, and he didn’t get any of the emails he signed up for and had no idea what had happened until I told him. @laurchastain22 I know of a YP in such a situation with a much younger girl (one of many he “mentored”). Groomed her for years and the second she turned 16, parents consented to their marriage. No concern of the 15 year age gap. Or the fact that he began grooming at age 12 when he was 27.

@KAZIC79 @StrikeDebt @SC_DoUsPart I am in this same boat. Consolidated to FFELP after graduation and then Mohela took over my loan without much more than “now we own you”. I’ve been excluded from all relief. I’ve heard rumblings that FFELP will be included in this forgiveness, but no one seems to know for sure.
