I always believe in creating your own happiness ,God will put you in places you prayed for but you will never be fully satisfied because of 1 or 2 reasons. But when you become grateful for that moment and find joy in it ,life becomes worth living for sure.
I was diagnosed with colon cancer in August 2025 & I've been in treatment. We've seen a 70% reduction of the tumour.
We still have a ways to remission. If you see this & you're able to, please help me regain my health &beat this. Nothing is too small. TIA https://t.co/NdJc0Xaru5
Learning to accept reality as is at the moment has been one of my biggest wins this year.
Nothing fazes me.
If I can handle it, I do it there and then.
If I canโt, itโs not my cross to carry.
Because at the end of the day, if it exists, it surely shall perish.
Anicca!
I was shot 3 times in the back outside Parliament on June 25, 2024. I was among those shot that day and I was the only one who survived. My name was even listed among those who had died. The media did not expect me to make it.
We went out together, my friends never came back. I carry them with me every day. May they rest in peace. ๐
Over 2 years later I have refused to give up. I have lived through a severe spinal cord injury, chronic pain, sepsis, bladder stones and countless hospital admissions.
I am now asking for help with the costs that come with my recovery; Physiotherapy, medication, follow-up appointments and other medical expenses.
My biggest goal is to keep working on my recovery and regain my independence.
Please support me:

This is me right now. Two years ago I was shot during the June 25 Gen Z protests. I've been living with a spinal cord injury since, and I self-catheterize because of neurogenic bladder.
That led to recurring UTIs and sepsis. Today I successfully underwent surgery at Emory Hospital Nairobi to remove a bladder stone at my left vesico-ureteric junction (5x7mm). The fragments were removed. I'm recovering now with some pain and bleeding, which the doctors say is normal.
@VOCALAfrica_ helped me get here, and I'm grateful. But I still need medication, physiotherapy and follow-up care. I still haven't received any government compensation.
I'm sharing this because I need help for what comes next. Any support means everything. ๐๐ฝ

blessing about starting from scratch is the character growth / development that comes with failing. Rebuilding is not easy but its super refreshing. You know yourself better, you know people better and you are operating with โinsiderโ knowledge.
Future has never looked brighter.
