I use two SIM cards.

The first one is my personal number. The second one exists for one reason only: to keep my personal number private. I use it for platforms like Amazon, Zomato, Gate entrance, and every app that eventually starts sending spam calls and messages.

I don't need internet.

And don't say we already have voice-only plans. It is priced almost as close to the regular plans.

Compare this with Israel and USA's actions so far:

My Experience at WOfA: The Rise of an Unacceptable 'VIP Culture'

It is deeply disheartening to witness the creeping "VIP vs. Non-VIP" culture within an institution where every single member holds the same prestigious title of Chartered Accountant. My experience at the recent WOfA event was a stark reminder of how far we have drifted from professional equality.

The disparity was glaring—plush sofas were reserved for the elite, while the chairs provided for ordinary members were barely fit for sitting. It is insulting to the dignity of our profession.
What is most ironic is that many of the CCMs and RCMs, who are now acting as untouchable hosts, were the same individuals desperately requesting members for WOfA bookings using their codes just a few days ago.

The discrimination didn't stop at the seating; it extended to the dining hall. For the first time in the history of our fraternity, separate lunch and dinner areas were designated for CCMs/RCMs and common members. Has our leadership become so "big" that even sharing a meal with a fellow professional is beneath them?

These representatives, who personally visit our offices and plead for votes during election time, seem to have forgotten that their authority comes from us. WOfA 2.0 has turned out to be "Dhoka 2.0." An institution’s grace is built on mutual respect and equality, not on the hollow vanity of sofas and separate dining halls. As professionals, we must stand against this blatant VIP culture. I would like to personally meet the genius who came up with this time table for the 26963/4 Asarva (Ahmedabad) - Udaipur Vande Bharat.

There is massive tourist demand between the two cities. But the genius who prepared this TT has no idea about travel patterns, or has never traveled as a tourist in his/her life.

The train leaves Ahmedabad at 5:30 pm and reaches Udaipur at 10 pm. By the time you reach your hotel and check in, the day is practically over. Most hotels allow check-in between 12 pm and 2 pm — so you’ve essentially paid for a full day at a resort without getting to enjoy it.

Now look at the return. The train leaves Udaipur at 6:10 am. That means waking up at an ungodly hour\ (god help you if you have kids) rushing through checkout, and missing the complimentary breakfast most hotels offer. Standard checkout time is around 11 am. So instead of a relaxed morning, you’re scrambling before sunrise.

Who exactly does this timetable serve?

If this train is meant for tourists, the schedule should be reversed.

It should leave Ahmedabad at 6:10 am, reach Udaipur around midday, perfectly timed for hotel check-in. On the return, it should depart Udaipur around 3 pm, allowing travelers to check out comfortably at 11 am or 12 pm, enjoy lunch, and reach Ahmedabad by 7:30 or 8 pm.
