@robfromca Many have speculated: are Republicans or Democrats more responsible for the spread of the virus? It can seem difficult to quantify or prove, at first glance. Fun fact though, this has been a matter of settled, peer-reviewed science for months now: https://t.co/tMtNu8g5mn
These are the things and events that happen when a sacred TN work visa is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from random Canadian tech workers in violation of the US' own laws. Go home with love & in peace. Remember this day forever! π
@wellingtondiner Large private gatherings are a shame to see because it throws away the sacrifices of others who have been diligently following the rules. The fastest path back to normality is to do what New Zealand has done. Restaurants in NZ are open and workers are getting PAID.
@AwokenTruth13@wellingtondiner Your statement about a secret cabal of globalists who know that covid is harmless, but are hyping it as an excuse to destroy small businesses is not backed up by the TIME article you refer to, nor by Prince Andrew, nor by any other credible source whatsoever. It's misinformation.
@wellingtondiner@fordnation Financial relief for small businesses and employees is the right message. Sadly, the evidence overwhelmingly shows that in-person dining needs to stay shut for now.

The 2% figure is being taken way out of context. OPH has clarified.

@wellingtondiner@fordnation You're focusing on the figure of 2% out of context. https://t.co/d9RQpZJOuX
Most infections in the study never got definitively traced, which means the 2% is a low-ball estimate. The very same study lists other municipalities up to 14%. This data actually disproves your point.
@wellingtondiner There is evidence that restaurants shouldn't be open for in-person dining. A lot of it.

The best thing for restaurants & retail is to stomp out the virus like New Zealand has done. NZ's economy is doing just fine right now.
@wellingtondiner@fordnation The data:

It is healthy to question Science. What is not healthy is to deny proven facts.
Meanwhile, New Zealand's economy is doing just fine. Let's follow their positive example and stomp out the virus.
@AwokenTruth13@wellingtondiner All major political parties in Canada have agreed that public misinformation about covid is harmful. The statement "Restaurants are not the problem. Never have been" is fully proven to be false. The best thing for the food/retail industry is to stomp out the virus asap, like NZ.
@wellingtondiner Many of those should be closed, too. The province has failed the diner. Best thing for restaurants & retail is to crush the virus at all costs like New Zealand has done. Facts. Science. https://t.co/cIZMwAZ1XN
@wellingtondiner Trust Scientists π¨π¦
"Adults with positive SARS-CoV-2 test results were approximately twice as likely to have reported dining at a restaurant than were those with negative SARS-CoV-2 test results" https://t.co/cIZMwAZ1XN
