The idea of ministering to the heart of Jesus is what brought a lot of us to IHOPKC—but you know what?

It’s totally backwards.

You aren’t meant to be in a room singing gsongs 24/7. It’s cathartic, yes. It feels meaningful. But guess what? We did that for YEARS.

The God of the universe doesn’t need to be ministered to—not that way, anyway.

He told you how to love him: love others as he loved you. “Whatever you do for the least of these, you do it unto me.”

Feed the hungry
Clothe the naked
Weep with the weeping

“But Jesus is worthy.”

In the Kingdom of Heaven, every is flipped. Love is poured out on the despised of the earth—the least, the broken, the lonely.
