@mattjay I’ve been saying the same thing at my work! Developing, organizing, and cataloging information is hard. Why isn’t hiring a specialist in information sciences a common practice‽
@stopskeletons the developer for 3do doom did an amazing interview about making the game. There’s long lost fmv recorded for this game! https://t.co/w0ngMe9RQd
@Jenfeds73 I figures this was a possibility from the start so I had blankets, a shovel, food, + water in the car, brought hi-viz gear + kept the tank above 3/4 . Used the heater to keep warm for the night while making hourly checks the exhaust was clear of blockages.
@mjtlbarrie Just north of the 401 near Cobourg. Still stranded out there, but some very kind folks are giving shelter to me and some other stranded travellers.
5 types of tests:
1. Unit: Test 1 thing, alone
2. Integration: Test a few things, together
3. End-to-end (e2e): Test that everything works together (run the app)
4. Performance: Test that app is fast under load
5. Contract: Test the interaction between 2 separate systems
@Sawbones I’m sure I’m not the first to say but the editing on this weeks episode is a little rough and repeating / missing chunks. Still enjoyed the Justin^2 interview
@RelianceCares@RelianceCares any update for this? You erroneously added my information and made an account that should have never existed. How can I get that information removed?
fun fact @RelianceCares you don't verify identity around dispute calls. Anyone can rattle off an arbitrary 8 numbers and if there's a hit get all account information, and PII of previous owners and tenants on the account with no other auth than saying yes when your name is asked
@RelianceCares@RelianceCares how can I get my own information removed that you shouldn't have had in the first place once we finish your nonsense claim dispute process?
@thebestiespod w/ the advent of the steam deck, Lutris, mesa, proton, the amazing work Valve has been doing for gaming on Linux, what do you see for the future of Linux as a main platform (and ARM over Intel as a first class architecture)
@lizthegrey@honeycombio How challenging was it to manage the migration in terms of older deployment images being x86_64, and the possible need to roll back to those at some point while the ARM migration was underway?
@thebestiespod could you start putting the games you mention during an episode in the show notes? you make so many sound interesting but I have the memory of a goldfish and can never remember them after the episodes
