@RapSheet@nflnetwork I think fans and national media had no idea Seattle would be so good last year, so they don’t know how to respond to their near dominance last year. As usual with all sports teams in Seattle, the rest of the country is usually a year behind on the basic knowledge of good players.
@3puttb@RapSheet@nflnetwork I know as a national guy Ian can’t know details about every team, but he should be able to comprehend what the Hawks really lost compared to what a general football fan knows. They lost 3 rotational guys (one who only got a prove it deal) and he says “several key players.” 🤦♂️
@Softykjr How about they tell the young man they won’t pay his NIL but will pay for his treatment. Let’s see how fast he stays in Lubbock to “get better.”
@martinka_pnw@Softykjr@TacoTimeNW As a lifelong lover of crispy beef burritos and no substitute at Taco Time. I approve this message and believe PNW Ben should receive the gift card. : )
@EmeraldCityHky@PuckSports I don’t understand this? Doesn’t this just tip their hand and tell every other team what their plan is regarding how they might go about trades, free agency, and drafts, right before all of that picks up speed?
@Softykjr They could have saved all that typing by just saying “We think he will help us win football games in the fall, so he stays.” If this was a backup he would have been gone long ago.
@DustinNickerson I love the battle with Waze when it tries to get me home one way and I know the shortcuts…every turn is a battle as it demands I go their way…then it FINALLY gives up and the route is the way I want to go. It’s the small wins in life I cherish.
@MaggieGray What would the Rams be able to offer? Bills or Bengals are not taking a late first round pick in 2028 and 2029 for their star QB. This is go time for LA - 2026 & 2027 (maybe ‘28 if Stafford is able) then start the reconstruction without Stafford & Myles.
@realjeffsimmons The amount of pressure on this Rams team is going to be insane. This team is either SB Champs or deemed a total failure. They can go 14-3 or 13-4 but if they slip in playoffs it is a massive fail because of all the chips they have riding in 2026.
@Softykjr Though I am not sure how the money breaks down for the Rams in '26, '27, '28 I do know '29 and '30 are not guaranteed. Rams basically have him for 3 years and I think (like one person already post, about $30 mil per year).
@Softykjr Team will trade Castillo and pay half his salary….and one of Gilbert or Kirby will be traded in off-season for a LF to replace Arozarena who is a free agent and maybe a reliever.
@714rpharmd@Softykjr I think of this from time to time. Seattle likely never has that OKC success because Schultz would never have hired Presti. He would have hired a milquetoast GM like Suns and Walker. For the scum Bennett is he hired a great GM and has stayed out of the way ever since.
@Softykjr Amazing how a little extra offense, the platoon right-handers hitting, great starting pitching, and quality relief pitching make Dan look like a quality manager.
@AlTheBoss03 I know there were some hairy white dudes in the NBA in the 70s, but no actual werewolves have been ballin’ (that I know of) at any competitive level.
