@JamesWelbes@andrewhoyer@MarkJSzymanski Very valuable. Just not convinced readmes should live buried in the sidebar — it makes discovery harder and I'd argue they have a special nature compared to other post types (think readme/license on GitHub vs. other files at the root)
@elou@ridd_design That was a very interesting session, it's been top of mind lately, thx to both of you! @elou did you share the Figjam file somewhere, or is that an internal asset? The website is neat but I'd love to dig in
@wpgridbuilder@EtchWPOfficial APIs are planned 😉
@WojciechPiskorz those reqs sound possible, don’t they?
@wpgridbuilder ce serait top, on veut vraiment donner les outils aux devs tiers pour qu’ils puissent créer des intégrations seamless. Et personnellement ce serait une grande satisfaction.
@srikat Yeah we were discussing it the past few days, not changing focus lets you quick add elements in succession, but is less convenient for styling. We’ve discussed some UX tweaks that could fit both scenarios and should make their way into the app soon 🔥
@nickarceco “Get the sale, every time. Right from their inbox”
Not sending wrong pricing doesn’t feel to me like a very compelling benefit. Yes it’d be embarrassing but also anecdotal/rare
New version up top is more aligned with your lede paragraph
@nickarceco For horse, it could be kind of a love-it-or-hate-it scenario. I could see myself loving it to do deep research on a topic. But when I’m jumping around, opening 20 tabs per min, not so much. I’ll have to give it a try I guess 🤷♂️
@nickarceco Working well already on my 2020 (Intel) MBP.
On 2023 Mac mini, rendering looks a little blurry unless I hover that section of the page, but I think it’s a quirk of my setup: I’m running a scaled resolution. Seems to be evolving fast in any case.
You should try it 😉
So I’ve been wondering:
Does forcing software onto people’s websites without their knowledge or consent sound like the definition of hacking to anyone else?
Asking for an ecosystem. #WordPress
Nah bro, you just stole 2M+ active installs from @wp_acf / @wpengine
This isn't a fork... this is bad actor Matthew Charles Mullenweg @photomatt weaponizing open source and destroying two decades of trust
And posting from the official @wordpress project account on top of it
Met with a company yesterday that is running on WordPress, is north of 200M ARR, and will go public in the next few years.
They were considering moving from WPE to VIP, but now, they are considering moving away from WordPress entirely.
Great work Matt.
