the horsepower bros need to go check out the HP numbers of everyones favorite era of SS racing (early 2000s).
Remember they used to say "It takes over a lap for these cars to be up to speed!"
HP at the non-SS tracks is good thing. On ss tracks its not that important
@DGodfatherMoody The g force of bells wreck was about the same as dale sr. If thats the case cant the limits of the car speed be increased? With safety coming so far. We dont want deaths by any means but if nascar isn't dangerous it also hurts the sports popularity.
The United States is 3 human lifetimes old.
That’s it. In those short years we invented the light bulb, the telephone, the airplane, the transistor and the internet. We turned a few wooded colonies into the most powerful nation in the history of the world.
70 seconds of @dennyhamlin watching the end of qualifying. He told us his goal was to be 12th coming in, then with 7ish cars to go, he said he’d be 5th at best, and lo and behold he’s on the pole. How about it?
As you can tell, he was in disbelief that his lap stood. #NASCAR
Here’s what you do if you’re Richard Childress…step down. You’re 81, too old for a rebuild. Here’s what you do if you’re Austin Dillon…you put Gragson in the 33. You hire Josh Berry for the OAPS 2. You announce 2027 is your last as a Cup driver, then you start pursuing Dale Jr as a partner since you’ve got his “kids” in your cars. You retire after 2027 and put Berry in the 3, and market it as a nod to RC’s retirement to become a car owner in 1981. RCR needs the Earnhardt family to thrive. Not to survive, they’ve done that since 1969, but to thrive.
Denny Hamlin’s average finish at Pocono in the Next Gen era: 1.5.
Not a hot streak. Domination.
He just won Michigan from dead last by 11 seconds. Now he goes to the one track he’s won 7 times.
Everybody else is racing for second. Again.
