@walterkirn Values, period. Which primarily stem from beliefs. Which primarily stem from theology.
But we have thrown out theology so...at this point...nothing.
This is a failure of the modern right.
Being right wing is supposed to = high agency = principled.
But the modern right is now doing what the left has been doing, which is just taking the counter to what the left hates. The left hates Sydney for _____ fill in the blank reasons I am sure there are many: attractiveness, race, not fitting their mold of the world, etc.
So the right piles on to their new champion.
Point is the new "right" (if you can even call it that since there is little agency there anymore) is willing to sacrifice their values to counterattack the left.
Principles and values are defined by COST. A value only matters if it is something you are willing to protect EVEN if it COSTS you something.
The new "right" has no such will to genuinely protect their values...so they aren't technically values...so they aren't technically high-agency people...so they aren't technically right wing.
@ConnorShowler You finding EMDs still performing well in the AEO era? I'm trying to decide now which direction to go, but have been hearing AI needs mentions to get traction and concerned a generic domain will harder to build mentions around.
This is a fair take and I agree it is the most likely risk scenario of all the doomer scenarios.
Not sure I would call this AGI, but I understand the point trying to be made and "AGI" or not still dangerous.
Maybe a swarm of a trillion agents can finally build this quote for me though :)
Marketing budgets typically range from 3β12% of revenue, depending on the industry. Use that benchmark and your pricing to estimate the size of companies you should target.
For example, a $10k/month service costs $120k/year. If your ideal customers spend 10% of revenue on marketing, they need at least $1.2M in annual revenueβand that assumes youβre their only marketing expense.
In practice, youβll likely need to target larger companies.
