@bencanning87 This is so true. I let my routines fail. When they fail you always have to use willpower to train. You have to willpower them back so you can save it for the days you really don't want to do it.
Every time I build something, every moment that comes after that is spent working out how it can be improved.
All of the observations, thoughts and feedback from the past 84 weeks have lead me here…
HACKSv2.0 offers a simplified phasing structure as well as multiple goal focuses.
Additional health focused data points, as well as regular performance testing.
@HackingDave and I discuss the outline in this weeks @wehackhealth episode.
Hope to see you on the inside 🫡

@balancegrille you should add a warning in your kiosks when it's going to take 35 minutes to get food. Gonna be late for a meeting because I've been waiting since 1215 for food.
So much this.
Had the honor of being along and am part of this ride. The energy, the friendships and the work will not soon be forgotten.
I've already begun negotiations with Heather about attending the next one 😁
And that’s a wrap for the first #wehackhealth lifting camp of the year - we called this one, the family reunion.
Truthfully, I haven’t sat down to fully decompress from the weekend, but here are a few thoughts.
Environment dictates performance - there were a lot of nerves entering the gym on the first day and absolutely everyone hit some sort of PR - the team and the surrounding helped with that.
The work does not stop on the gym floor - “the 6 inches of real estate between your ears” - is the most important one we need to work on.
Letting go of control - this event hit different for me, I had the team with me to help coach, I had my Mum & Mark there to help cook - while it was difficult, it was worth it, it allowed me to be fully present in every conversation had across the week.
Lastly -
“Create something that people want to be a part of”
This is something I said Dec 01 2019 after one of my very first client shoots - I’ll share the before and after below so we can see how things have grown since then.
Never stop growing.
Demand more and be better.
No one is going to do the work for you.
Act accordingly.
And of course: 5 more
🌵
Thanks to everyone who joined us for a crazy idea of getting together in the desert to lift weights.
Thanks to @HackingDave for the initial trust and the introduction to this space.
Thanks to @trishprosser & @MarkSey69099810 for feeding everyone all week.
Thanks to @trainedbytrav & @LGiunipero (and again Dave & Adam) for coaching along side me.
Thanks to @HolisiticCoach & @_shaundoherty for putting the other pieces of the puzzle together around identity and personal development.
Thanks to @DuuMayne - our man on the ground this time round.
Thanks to @diltakesphotos for capturing the event and going all in with us.
Thanks to @RealDDP & @PaygeMcMahon for taking us through a @DDPYoga session.
As always, plenty more to come 🖤
Super disappointed. Going to miss platinum for this year on @MarriottBonvoy by 1 night because I didn't realize group stays didn't count. Guess no need to prioritize stays there to keep the streak up.
@HackingDave listening to you gush about Cleveland in the podcast episode 93 warms my heart. Being from Toledo and loving our area I'm so used to people shitting on it. Be proud of where you live. #wehackhealth
