Between them, the proposals attack two of Bitcoin’s most fundamental properties.

Tail emission destroys the 21 million hard cap through perpetual dilution.

Demurrage, its soft-fork cousin, imposes a continuous holding tax that transfers value from savers to miners.

Reallocating century-dormant UTXOs destroys immutability by turning lost coins into confiscated coins.

Fixed supply and untouchable coins weren't previously considered optional features of Bitcoin.

The code wouldn't compile, so the Coldcard dev DISABLED THE HARDWARE RNG (Random Number Generation) to make the error go away. 🤯
