Very little salmon fishing past couple summers but managed to get on the mighty and beautiful Pinware for a couple mornings in July with my son Jordan. We both filled our tags for a wonderful meal with family.
Since 1947, the Canadian Rangers have provided a military presence in the Canadian North.

Large crowd of mostly lobster fisherman from the west coast of the island and the northern peninsula. FFAW rep says this is a peaceful protest, standing in support with fish harvesters in St. John’s.
The fishery is at the heart of Newfoundland and Labrador, and it is a significant industry for us. Ensuring our federal government recognizes that is key. So it was great to meet with Min. @JoyceMurray in Ottawa to discuss the issues, particularly its management of crab.
