@MediaversityRev I haven't seen it yet, but... a white male does something catastrophic and terrible, and then is tortured by the moral weight of the consequences of his actions? Not seeing a problem. Lots of white men could use a moral awakening. Truman comes to mind.
@SecYellen could you deprioritize payments to addresses in the districts of representatives who are putting the debt ceiling in play? I feel like that might help them take that tactic out of their repertoire.
@Uber_Support weird. I check my account with you and see rides I took. I check with my bank and see a bunch of rides I *did not* take, to the tune of several hundred $$, starting on Feb 24. How can we resolve this?
#askneuralink how do you target neurons? How much difference would it make to target one neuron as opposed to its connected neighbor? How narrow is your targeting?
#askneuralink I have a Medtronic deep brain stimulation implant, which failed to do me any good, after rather traumatic surgery. Do you have plans to implant deeply, or are you mainly focused on the cortex?
@RealSexyCyborg I think Americans probably have a different relationship to our history than the Chinese. Culturally we don't have a strong interest in it, so we don't go beyond the drivel we get in school.
Also, comparatively, we don't have a lot of history.
@ladyaeva Hey, had a 3D printing idea... maybe you might find it interesting or know someone who would. So I've read that N95 masks are difficult to use, because getting a seal where they touch your face is tricky....
@ladyaeva I feel like just getting to something you could try is difficult enough that if it didn't work it wouldn't really catch on. You'd make something, test it, see it not work, and go back to drawing board, or do something else, or whatever.
It sounds like it could be easy... for someone who knows the right software libraries, and some of the right math. Which is not me. It sounds closer to your wheelhouse than mine, though I don't know what you've been up to lately.
Let me know what you think.
I'm guessing a non-rigid material would work best...?
So my thought was, scan the face, then take a 2D head-on image, feature-find the appropriate path on that image, project the path onto the 3D face object, and derive the gasket shape.
@GretaThunberg The climate crisis seems like a fitting subject to base a death metal band on. I'm only half joking.
Running the band in a low carbon way, now that would be tricky. Coz you know you'd be huge.
