Did you know that if someone takes a knife to somewhere – a park for eg – and murders someone, the starting point for their jail sentence is 25 years. But if someone kills in the home with a knife already at the scene, like in the kitchen drawer, the starting point for their jail sentence is 10 years less 

Why? It doesn’t make sense 

Well now after incredibly determined campaigning by the mums of 3 young women – women who were killed in the home by their boyfriend or ex – the law is being changed

Carole Gould, Julie Devey and Elaine Newborough, from the charity Killed Women have been fighting for SEVEN years for the minimum sentence for domestic murder to be increased

Now it’s happening. The gov says it intends to close the 10 yr gap so domestic killers face higher sentences

He stole a lion statue from the front of my nans house at 8:45pm on Friday. It's more than just a lion statue though, as it was bought by my late grandad who sadly passed in January.

This Japanese man gave up his Ferrari and Company to fund a dog shelter after his pet saved him from taking his own life 🥹

A 54-year-old man named Hirotaka Saito shut down his company and sold his luxury car to open a shelter for dogs. It happened after his own pet saved his life.

Saito sold his Ferrari to buy land and build Wansfree, a shelter where dogs are free from chains. It now houses 40 dogs and eight cats. He hopes to raise funds and expand the shelter to 300 dogs by 2028.

Years ago, during a financial crisis, Saito tried to end his life. His large dog blocked the door and stopped him from leaving. He realized the dog understood and was stopping him.

This changed his mind, and he chose to live for others. He began rescuing aggressive dogs in Japan. Despite being bitten often, Saito patiently showed them love, never giving up on any of them.

He started the Wansfree rescue center in Yaizu. It cares for dogs that bite or act out due to past abuse. The shelter is free and supports dogs that most people find too difficult to handle.

Backs up equal pay for women.

Stops people from being harassed at work because they’re LGBT+.

Makes it illegal to refuse someone a job or a service because of their race or religion.

And THIS is what they’ve decided is the problem in Britain?

Not the cost of living.
Not NHS waits.
Not wages. (They said they’d actually them CUT for young people)

But YOUR rights.

THEIR culture wars would TEAR UP protections that millions of hardworking Brits rely on every day.
