@RepDanGoldman Dan, have the Dems considered finding a group of moderate Rs who will support @AdamKinzinger for speaker? Adam could declare his independence and each part has their leader. Imagine how much it would piss off Trump. Adam is the most moderate Ds could get. Moderate Rs might back.

@RepSherrill @BillPascrell What about your, @RepSlotkin and other moderates trying to build a consensus around @AdamKinzinger as speaker as an independent, with each side having a party leader. You might strip a chunk of Republicans and enough Democrats.

@AshleyG_KVUE Hearsay has exceptions. One big one is the admissions by party opponent (Paxton) or even the statements of his agents in the course of representation under TRE 801(e)(2)(D). Tacit admissions (failing to respond) can also be admitted but Paxton can testify to dispute.

One fatality has been confirmed by the sheriffs office. A 71 year old man was found unresponsive in his driveway near where the fire burned.
