@MrsDloves2read Graphic novels are the only thing that kept my boys reading. And the level of reading in some of these novels is very high. That isn’t the right thought process. Kids who struggle with reading need the RIGHT motivation…

@LMCoxton So sorry to hear of your loss. My mom and dad call me Trina Bean-a too. Just gave me a whole reflection back on my mom. I still miss her dearly. Take care of yourself
What an amazing day! The students and staff showed up and showed out while we had a great Very Special Arts Festival “At The Circus”! Creating artwork, dancing, making music, painting faces, movement and game stations, a banner parade, and some circus food fun! @CCPSNews
This exciting week celebrating our exceptional student ends tomorrow with our DES Parent Expo! You won’t want to miss this! Come out and get the information, have fun, see the students, and enjoy the game!
@Forgot_About_It@dustychipura This, time blindness, and executive function related to organization. I have boxes of junk yet other rooms are massively organized. I have had migraines for 25 years and take meds now for that and see a chiropractor and massage therapist (but I am still always late to the appts)
@heymrsbond Of course my experience was 20 years ago and I haven’t seen it today but all Indy township and suburbs have those ONE HS buildings which run nearly 4000 to 5000 students. They run like mini college campuses.
@heymrsbond Each township and district surrounding Indy has just ONE HS. They are all this big. Most have just as many resources. I taught at one 20 years ago in Indy - North Central High for student teaching. Very different student population but the setup for the school is very similar
Over 90% of Finnish teachers remain in education for entirety of career. We don’t have 90% make it through one year. They also teach 50% less hours with remainder for planning, multiple recesses, autonomy at school level, limited teacher eval's & are treated like professionals!
