@AlexSolivan Had this same dilemma years ago. Content-wise you can easily learn both. IMO question is which technical expertise to build in PhD. To be synth/NMR/column/etc, expert join synth lab w chembio project. For microscopy/western/cell culture/etc expert, chem bio lab w synth project.
