An Anthropic engineer literally stopped me at a coffee shop because of what was on my screen.
I was sitting there testing my Polymarket AI system.
He glanced once.
Then again.
Finally he asked:
“Wait… what exactly is this setup?”
I told him:
• Claude Code
• a few open-source repos
• less than $25/month
That’s it.
He pulled up a chair immediately.
Turns out he worked on Anthropic’s agent team.
Then I showed him what the system was doing.
86 MILLION trades analyzed.
Every wallet.
Every entry.
Every exit.
Every profitable behavior pattern.
One simple prompt:
“Find wallets with 100+ trades and 70%+ win rate. Rank them by profit.”
Claude scanned 14,000 wallets in minutes.
Returned only 47.
The top wallets outperformed almost everyone else combined.
He looked at the screen and said:
“This isn’t normal analytics anymore.”
And that was only phase one.
The second system scraped hundreds of live Polymarket markets in real time.
Claude filtered:
• liquidity gaps
• timing opportunities
• whale activity
• spread inefficiencies
500 markets instantly became 35 high-quality setups.
Most trades were rejected automatically before I even saw them.
Then one trade closed live.
+$84.
He asked:
“How does it decide entries?”
3 separate AI agents:
• arbitrage
• convergence
• whale-copying
No shared memory.
2 agents agree = full position
1 agrees = smaller size
No agreement = no trade
That consensus logic alone removed a huge percentage of bad trades.
Then came the exit strategy.
The smartest wallets almost never hold until settlement.
So the bot exits before they do.
Profit targets trigger on:
• expected move completion
• unusual volume spikes
Basically:
It follows smart money…
then exits ahead of the crowd.
He stared at the terminal for a second.
“How much did you start with?”
$200.
27 days ago.

271 trades.
74% win rate.
Fully automated.
Before leaving he said:
“This is extremely close to the scenarios our internal teams simulate.”
The craziest part?
The entire stack costs less than Netflix.
AI isn’t just replacing workflows anymore.
It’s replacing entire trading teams.
Comment “Claude” and I’ll send the framework.
US investors think they own Brazil.
They don't.
They own some banks.
And an oil company.
The most popular Brazil ETF is called $EWZ.
It holds roughly 10 billion dollars of US capital.
Here are the top five holdings as of early 2026:
Nu Holdings (a bank): 8 to 12 percent
Vale (iron ore): 9 to 11 percent
Itaú (a bank): 8 percent
Petrobras (oil, two share classes combined): 11 to 15 percent
Add up the banks and the oil company.
You get roughly 28 percent of "Brazil."
Now look at what Brazil actually is.
Brazil has 351 million hectares of farmland.
Brazil grew 171.4 million tons of soybeans in 2024/25.
Brazil makes 88 percent of its electricity from clean energy.
Brazil produces ~90 percent of the world's niobium.
One Brazilian company, CBMM, controls 77 percent of the global niobium market.
Brazil holds the second largest rare earth reserves on Earth.
None of that shows up in EWZ at meaningful weight.
The biggest critical minerals story in the world is sitting in Brazil.
And the ETF that says "Brazil" on the label is mostly a bank and an oil company.
That gap is the trade.
Farmland in Brazil costs 10 to 20 thousand dollars per hectare.
Farmland in the US costs 20 to 30 thousand dollars per hectare.
Same productivity. Half the price.
On April 20, 2026, USA Rare Earth agreed to buy Serra Verde Group for $2.8 billion.
Serra Verde is a rare earth mine in Goiás, Brazil.
It is the only scaled producer outside Asia of all four magnetic rare earth elements.
That deal will close in Q3 2026 (pending Brazilian Supreme Court review).
This is what real Brazil exposure looks like.
It does not look like EWZ.
The next decade of US capital into Brazil will not flow through the ETF.
It will flow through private structures into farmland, minerals, energy, and infrastructure.
The institutional investors who figure this out first will own the corridor.
Everyone else will own a bank and an oil company and call it "Brazil."

- ranks top 5 globally in crypto adoption, with ~20% of the population owning crypto

- has run pay-in-installments (BNPL) as a core part of commerce for decades
- pioneered combo cards (debit + credit) decades ago

For a long time, we’ve treated gravity as one of the fundamental forces of nature. Something built into the fabric of reality itself, alongside electromagnetism and the nuclear forces.
It curves spacetime, governs the motion of planets, shapes galaxies, and dictates the large scale structure of the universe.
But what if that picture is incomplete?
What if gravity isn’t fundamental at all?
In physics, we’ve seen this kind of shift before. Temperature feels like a basic property of matter, but it isn’t. It emerges from the collective motion of microscopic particles. Pressure, too, is not fundamental. It arises from countless interactions at smaller scales.
In that sense, what we perceive as a smooth, continuous phenomenon is often the result of something deeper and more discrete.
Some physicists have wondered whether gravity might be similar.
This idea is known as emergent gravity. Instead of being a fundamental interaction, gravity could arise from underlying microscopic degrees of freedom. In some approaches, those degrees of freedom are tied to quantum information and entanglement, suggesting that spacetime itself may be built from how information is organized at the most fundamental level.
One of the key clues comes from black holes.
Black holes are not just gravitational objects. They also have temperature and entropy. Their entropy is proportional to the area of their event horizon, not their volume.
That’s a surprising result.
It suggests that the fundamental description of reality might live on lower dimensional boundaries, an idea closely related to the holographic principle.
There are even deeper proposals. In some frameworks, connections between regions of spacetime may be related to quantum entanglement itself, an idea often summarized as ER = EPR.
In that picture, spacetime is not just a stage where physics happens. It could be something that emerges from entanglement.
Even more intriguingly, when you combine quantum theory, thermodynamics, and relativity, equations resembling Einstein’s field equations can be derived as emergent relations, not as fundamental laws. In this view, spacetime geometry, and therefore gravity, would be more like an equation of state than a basic ingredient.
So gravity wouldn’t be “causing” motion in the traditional sense. It would be the macroscopic manifestation of deeper microscopic processes.
There are also attempts to connect this idea to cosmology. Some versions of emergent gravity try to explain phenomena usually attributed to dark matter by modifying how gravity behaves on large scales, without introducing new particles. These models are still debated, and they don’t yet match all observations as well as the standard picture, but they highlight how much we still don’t know.
The challenge is that we don’t yet have a complete underlying theory.
If gravity is emergent, what is it emerging from? What are the fundamental degrees of freedom? How do they give rise to spacetime itself?
Right now, those questions are open.
And that’s what makes the idea so compelling.
Because it shifts the question. Instead of asking how gravity works, we start asking why it exists at all, and whether what we call gravity is just the large scale shadow of something deeper.
If that’s true, then spacetime itself may not be fundamental.
And what we experience as the curvature of the universe might be closer to a thermodynamic illusion than a basic feature of reality.
But like wind, which emerges from the motion of air molecules yet is undeniably real, an emergent phenomenon is not less real, only less fundamental.

it didn't make sense to most. agent frameworks were hot. funding was flowing. why leave now?
the main reason: i saw this squeeze coming. some might disagree, but this was and still is my thesis. i'll write more about the second reason (experiencing enterprise AI adoption from the inside) on the next edition.

I have never been more bullish on crypto.
Because the rules-based order is collapsing and the code-based order is rising. So the short term price doesn’t matter.
As international law breaks down, we will need not just onchain currencies, but onchain companies. As the post-war order breaks down, we’ll similarly need the post-internet order. States will fail, and the network will take their place.
We need internet capitalism, we need internet democracy, and we need internet privacy. So we need cryptocurrency.
