Devastating to hear of the passing of Sean Rocks. A warm and cheerfully erudite presence on air and in person, he wore his learning lightly. As listeners and guests he made us welcome, and he had the gift good teachers have of making us believe we were smarter than we were. RIP.
The Poetry Ireland Team would like to wish Joe Duffy all the best in this retirement! Go néirí leat ar do scor!
Joe Duffy joined in celebrating Poetry Day Ireland this year by reading ‘Hawthorn’ by Stephen de Búrca. Watch here: https://t.co/oCpJbZ9i9p

How exciting to receive this beautiful volume of poetry from @judeokane inspired by her time working with the papers of Roger Deakin. Visiting 'Olympia' is exactly how it feels to spend time with a writer's personal papers @uearchives @uealdc
