A new chapter and a new challenge - -
I am thrilled to announce that I have recently joined University of California, Los Angeles (@UCLA) as a postdoctoral researcher. I will be part of Professor Prineha Narang's research team, focusing on quantum information science.
Jeff Kimble 1949-2024. An extraordinary pioneer of quantum information science and a great friend who inspired me in many ways. Jeff's wise counsel made me a better scientist and a better person.
What a week @APSMeetings
#APSMarchMeeting
Enjoyed presenting our work on hybrid quantum systems. Had insightful discussions with physicists all across the world. Got to learn lots of exciting new things in quantum physics.
Thank you @APSphysics for organizing this amazing event
Don't miss Dr. Talukdar's presentation on the exciting work with cavities being done here at UCLA! Our thanks to the @NSF for supporting Dr. Talukdar's work! @APSphysics#APSMarchMeeting
My second week at @UCLA. It was an amazing experience to be part of "Mathematical and Computational Challenges in Quantum Computing Tutorials" organized by the @ipam_ucla. Fascinating lectures on topics ranging from quantum linear algebra to @GoogleQuantumAI experiments.
Chandrayaan-3 Mission:
'India🇮🇳,
I reached my destination
and you too!'
: Chandrayaan-3
Chandrayaan-3 has successfully
soft-landed on the moon 🌖!.
Congratulations, India🇮🇳!

More #LK99 good/bad news. Good news is more results have been reported. Bad news is exactly the same. NTU, an excellent university which has sent its students as PhD students and postdocs to CMTC over the years, reports insulating resistivity increasing with decreasing T and...
We present our discoveries--
(1) The emergence of exotic spin correlations in the qubit array.
(2) The reversal of effective interaction energy scale hierarchy in the band gap regime.
(3) A series of unique correlated droplet-like bound states in the two-excitation manifold.
Our research work on a qubit array coupled to a correlated photonic environment have been published today. The paper titled "Photon-induced droplet like bound states in a one-dimensional qubit array" (https://t.co/CTViRGeL9j). Please let me know your comments and questions.
#DoctoralDegree
I am thrilled to announce that I successfully defended my doctoral dissertation, titled "Collective behaviors of quantum emitters coupled to a structured photonic environment," on July 10th at @CQRTatOU.
We are so proud to tell that Prof. Deepak Dhar (Emeritus Professor) from our Department has been chosen for the Boltzmann Medal! The Boltzmann Medal is awarded once every three years by the Commission on Statistical Physics of the @IUPAP_physics. Many congratulations Deepak!
Help us congratulate QED-C's Celia Merzbacher on her election as a 2021 @aaas fellow! Election as a Fellow honors the efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications in service to society that have distinguished them among their peers. https://t.co/pIK7hfzSjO
