@DCPSChancellor You should be more surprised to see teachers walking through the school doors every morning when our contract has been expired for 3 years!!! You should be surprised that I didn’t resign when you visited my classroom in November 2020 pre-vax and didn’t say hello or thank you.

@dcresident73 @DMEforDC @MayorBowser They say…. yes. Because there is another clause that says if (and when) the contract expires it will be considered to remain in place until a new one is agreed upon. It was a big loss when those clauses were agreed to originally.

This is the absolute last place any teacher should come and work. The mayor is giving out bonuses to recruit new police officers and refusing to negotiate a contract with teachers.
