⚠️To Whom It May Concern,
The occupation is now openly threatening a full-scale invasion of Gaza.
For 22 months, the city has been bleeding under relentless bombardment from land, sea, and air.
Tens of thousands have been killed, and hundreds of thousands wounded.
If this madness does not end, Gaza will be reduced to ruins, its people’s voices silenced, their faces erased — and history will remember you as silent witnesses to a genocide you chose not to stop.
Please share this message and tag everyone who has the power to help end this massacre. Silence is complicity.
The entire Gaza City crew exterminated in a bombardment while announcing the imminent invasion and destruction of Gaza City and the expulsion of almost one million people. Genocide in the dark.
Barely an hour ago, Palestinian journalist Anas Al-Sharif warned if this doesn’t end, “Gaza will be reduced to ruins, its people’s voices silenced, their faces erased — and history will remember you as silent witnesses to a genocide you chose not to stop.”
Israel just killed him
Congratulations to @latrobelaw’s @juliadehm on releasing the third set of chapters in Becoming a Climate Conscious Lawyer. New chapters co-authored with @latrobelaw’s Prof. Louis de Koker & Dr Emma Henderson are now available via open access: https://t.co/JQyilTRshs
The world’s top court has spoken: failing to tackle climate change could breach international law.
Climate justice is being fought in the courts, but it shouldn’t have to be this way.
It’s time for the govt to step up and protect future generations.

I wrote for @JewishCurrents about the history of international law and the question of Palestine, and the bloodstained lever that is armed struggle

The reports from Gaza indicate that the final point of no return has been crossed. A broad consensus of scholars predicted that mass hunger will began to exact its deathly toll just about now. It is. All was known. Nothing surprised anyone.
There is no need to refer to the Gaza Holocaust. Every genocide is unique. Israel's genocide of the Palestinian people is unprecedented in its lack of secrecy, in its length, in the overt dismissal of Palestinian humanity on Israel's part. The egregiousness of all these is such that there can be no quarter for the leaders, the executors and the enablers. This, ultimately, is what negates the need for official "orders". Israel is putting its heart into the liquidation of the Palestinians. How much more intent can there be?
"To be clear, the wretched of the earth are not asking for charity. They are demanding justice. International law, if it is to have any meaning, must answer that demand". Powerful essay by Julian Aguon on the @CIJ_ICJ climate AO https://t.co/ZZrpmuwtK4
More than 400 people in Gaza have now been killed trying to reach food at sites run by the ‘Gaza Humanitarian Foundation’. “The attempt to survive is being met with a death sentence,” says Jonathan Whittall, UN humanitarian coordination office (OCHA). https://t.co/yr8mEPidft
"We like to think we would have saved Anne Frank. The truth is different. The truth is, crippled by fear, nearly all of us will only save ourselves, even at the expense of others."
Amazing @ChrisLynnHedges, always.
This Palestinian risked his life against drones and snipers to get food for his starving family from a so-called 'US aid center.' He returned, only to find his home obliterated, his wife and children shredded by a Zionist strike.
Silence is complicity.

Re the @GazaFFlotilla:
1) Israel is refusing to comply with its obligations under the Geneva Conventions to ensure the food supplies of Gaza “to the fullest extent of the means available to it”.
Let’s be clear: the world is watching Israel attack a civilian boat carrying no weapons—only humanitarian aid—flying a U.K. flag in international waters & carrying humanitarians of many nationalities. Israel has precisely zero authority to do so under any law. #AllEyesOnDeck #Madleen @GazaFFlotilla
Brilliant article by Carmen Lawrence, former premier of WA & federal Labor minister: Anthony Albanese’s gas project extension is not just a mistake, it’s a betrayal https://t.co/pcMyLsFMWX
""Approving the North West Shelf extension is a disaster for the environment, our climate commitments &the fragile and irreplaceable rock art in Murujuga.
It would seem that despite well-founded concerns on many fronts, big gas projects in Australia are all but untouchable."
Environmental and First Nations groups have campaigned against extending Karratha's large gas plant. Australia's new environment minister just approved it. @samanthahepbur2@Deakin https://t.co/XYBhYGBlI5
27/ The #FossilFuel industry suffered a significant defeat today as this signals the beginning of the end of the industry's impunity.
That the judges rejected the industry's key legal arguments one after another will be extremely useful in similar cases pending at the moment.
