@MLapointe47 @JoJoFromJerz I don't believe this graphic to be accurate. In 2021 there were 788 (and this was one of the highest years ever) homicides in Canada. 46% were firearm deaths. I did not see a breakdown of handgun vs longarm weapon. Total doesn't come close to 611 anyway.

@just_shannon_s What about those s's who want to make something for caregivers but have no means to do so except through school? Make it an option? 20+ years ago when I taught elementary I made it clear that it didn't have to be a parent or gender specific if they wanted to celebrate someone.

@OBrienSci I agree with the walking advice. If you live too far to walk to and from work maybe consider parking in a lot about 1km from work. That way you can't skip it and it isn't something extra to do when you get home.

@DrBradJohnson In Ontario principals were removed from the unions around 1998. This forced them not to be part of "we" in many ways. I did the role for a short time and it might be the worst job in education. They have very little support from anywhere so kind words go a long way.
