Slugs are hosts to lungworm.
Lungworm kills all mammals unless treated.
Hedgehogs do not voluntarily eat slugs.
While people still believe they do, hedgehogs will continue dying of starvation and parasite invasion.

Aha. Is cos it is Warleigh Point Nature Reserve #Plymouth and according to the #Woodlandtrust it is a 'fine example of coastal wood oakland.' And from my view on the water it certainly looks it.

@SLeguil I used to be a volunteer greeter at WWT London Wetlands & often I had to gently explain that actually it's main purpose is as a wildlife reserve &, yes there is fun learning stuff but it is not actually a theme park just to keep kids entertained.
