The draft Conversion Practices Bill is trans activism's attempt to reverse the gains of Forstater and For Women Scotland. It will encourage and enable trans activist bullying that will make what we've seen so far look trivial.
Sarah Vine KC's take is on the money.
The people who gave us "This trans debate is just a culture war, you should stop talking about it" have now decided to DECLARE WAR on families, children and anyone who cares enough about a loved one to tell them the truth to their face.
The Conversion Practices Bill - criminalising the culture war ?

Yesterday our Chair wrote to the leader, the president plus the spokesperson for Women and Equalities in the @LibDems asking how they are looking to amend equalities law following the vote at conference. Voters and volunteers deserve to know what the party is planning.
Wow. “We have to sit down and listen to both sides” now, is it? After all those years of howling down women as bigots when they calmly and politely raised reasonable concerns about self-ID policies.
How about this- people can say whatever they like about their gender and change it as many times a day as they like, with as many options as they like, without any state involvement or constraints.
Meanwhile their sex - which is what laws, rules and rights relate to remains boringly simple, straightforward and immutable.
@sprolliehouse@anna4fes@Healthy_Control@mara_yamauchi Ah yes, it was "refresh". That olde biologicale definition of woman was looking a bit tired and shabby after all. It can only benefit from a hefty spray of Impulse and a new wig.
UK women are simply not going to see our rights, including single-sex spaces, trampled for the benefit of a tiny sub-set of men (and their allies) who think their wish for inclusion should trump everything else. Sisterhood is powerful and this is a cross-party issue👇
Three things to highlight from this terrific speech:
1) the sheer guts it took to make it.
2) the use of 'male' - the defensible, accurate term to use of 'Rose'
3) the gym example: men need to get used to gnc males in male spaces.
@hollowood_zoe is mightily impressive.
@EdwardJDavey@libdemdaisy@JoshBabarinde If this ludicrous motion becomes party policy, then not a single thing the party has said over the weekend, or will say until the next election, will matter one bit. Show some leadership.
