It feels really weird to be living in a country that you were born in, paid your way, kept your nose clean & then wake up & find the country you were born in is now not the country you thought it was.
I always thought we had a government that was there to take care of you, do the right thing by you & put you first.
How wrong was I.
We now live in a country that puts you last & would prefer to look after foreigners than their own people.
Surely if this is what the government want then they should be the ones that move to a country that suits their needs & leave the rest of us to get on & enjoy the country we were born into.
We need a government that puts the UK first, not themselves.
@AndrewN82@BritishGas They are notoriously hard to contact, I'm guessing not accidental. After sending emails to addresses not monitored and calling various numbers only to be told that they did not deal with complaints, I resorted to the old fashioned method by writing and sending recorded delivery.
@Feargal_Sharkey@JamesAHogg2 They should be held accountable, but won't be.
Yorkshire Water are exactly the same, money grabbing and environmentally destructive.
@BritishGas@JMac00027 If you want to help customers have a complaints email address that is monitored instead of asking them to use a chat box that doesn't answer your particular complaint. The only way of making a complaint to British Gas is by writing. Come on, we are living in the 21st century.
@BritishGas how do I contact you re a complaint as your tel no 0333 200 8899 isn't operating. Please send me a complaint's email address as I do not have time to write to you.
@BritishGas Why is your complaints address [email protected] sending automated messages saying that the mailbox is not monitored? Please forward an email address that is checked as I do not want to communicate via your chat box.
I originally contacted you via Twitter (X) to ask how I could escalate a complaint concerning a recent bill for servicing to a gas fire and the replacement of the Thermocouple, a part that I ordered and supplied. You "liked" my post and said you were having issues
@BritishGas what mechanisms do you have in place for a customer to dispute a bill apart from being transferred to accounts who say if the bill has been issued that is final and there is no where to go to dispute it? Surely a case of "the computer says no"
@yorkshtradingco please could Anthony Sleight respond regarding my recent correspondence concerning the sales of out of date confectionery purchased from your York city centre branch as I am not getting anywhere with your customer service department. Thank you
