@KullAxel@jbsteinberg You know how to calculate an average?
A guy owns 10 billion and has 9 homeless people living on the street in front of his house.
In average, each of them is a billionaire.
That's why we use the median instead of the average in statistics.
@zagrebbi If you have a significantly higher life expectancy (as in Europe), you are much more likely to die from heat. Because as you get older, more heat becomes dangerous.
Crossing correlations.
@RollingStone I mean yeah, that's to be expected when you make a shady real estate guy a president.
Real estate is a magnet for low-intelligence, highly corrupt people because that works best there.
@Maarten_BNL@denisyurchak Yeah. As valid as an argument: I saw it in the color of my urine.
Just Google the median (not mean) effective tax rate. Ask ChatGPT or whatever to factor in healthcare costs (which you probably consider taxes in Europe) and ask to compare to the USA.
You will be surprised
@Schuldensuehner However beside this speculations, we see since 200 years a strong correlation between poverty of individuals and reproduction rate - everywhere.
So if you want them to reproduce, make them poor again, which is gonna happen anyway, when AI replaces their jobs
@sarahadams@margbrennan The thing is not that China and Russia don't know it. They see everything on their satellites and just have to count 1+1.
The thing is that China and Russia know it - but US citizens don't. And it's a democracy where they actually should know it.
@capitolsquire@RpsAgainstTrump They are based on enlightenment - the movement which also brought you agnosticism.
So it's everything else but Christian.
@thepanta82@PaulSkallas Except the Euro won 5% over the last year in value to the dollar - but whatever, who cares about realty, when you can be maga gaga
@SamaHoole Sailors average lifespan was below 30 years - not a long time to die from cancer.
However a lot did - you are just too lazy to look up the data.
@TheBALATRON@BillyZigouras Did you know that you can be killed by a feather at hypersonic speed?
Did you know that a grain of sand can punch a hole into spacecraft?
If you had some education, you would know that energy is related to speed.
@Rothmus No. We just value effort and skill.
Therefore, we don't consider it fair that people should be able to get effortless exponential wealth by letting their wealth work, while skilled people putting effort into their work are put on a linear growth path.
It's simple math.
@robertgraham Sure. That view of capitalism works so magically (by making no sense) - as communism.
OMG, you wannabe, "one day I'm gonna be" billionaires are the same way stupid as the hardcore commies.
@zachtratar You don't see the quality of life - a lot of free time for family and hobbies, weeks of vacation, good food, a working infrastructure, safety - in equity and salaries.
Wealth means much more than just the financial numbers.
