I think the time has come to stop complaining about crumbling highways, falling bridges, flooded cities, traffic choked roads, spiralling crime and dogs and cattle ruling the streets.
India was like this. India will continue to be like this. In the next 100 years.
Because..
Greed is insatiable.
Religion, caste, and pseudo nationalism are the opium of the Indian masses. These are tools used by power brokers to hypnotize a population into abject submission.
We are yet to realise that people do not enter politics to serve. They enter to extract. Elections have become auctions of power where morality is the first casualty. The ones who win loot openly. The ones who lose wait in resentment, sharpening their knives for the next cycle of loot, determined to steal double to make up for lost time.
Criminals get elected not despite their records but because of them. Voters see muscle and money as assets in a society where the law has been reduced to just a pale and feeble arm of the Constitution.
The bureaucracy does not act as a check. It colludes in silence. The police are often for hire. The judiciary is slow, selective, and frequently compromised. We see it everywhere. We turn away our eyes everyday.
People are made to vote not for governance but for redressing imaginary grievances. Caste, religion, region, and revenge dictate their choices. Merit is mocked. Integrity is irrelevant.
Public outrage is episodic and memory is short. A scam lasts one week and becomes a meme the next. People have adapted to corruption like fish living in polluted water. They no longer see it, let alone fight it.
The media, once a pillar of democracy, now bends for corporate crumbs or political patronage. Truth is treated as entertainment. Lies are packaged and sold like consumer goods.
This is the sad story of our country. A democracy in name, a corrupt, feudal, autocratic oligarchy in practice. A nation addicted to delusion, trapped in a loop of its own making.
The curse of our children, and their children will be upon us.
Just apologize to your partner when you know you messed up bruh… All that manipulative behavior and getting mad at them for being upset when they have a valid reason is just weird. People love to say they’re grown until it’s time to take accountability.
You could be the most optimistic person about India's present and future but just one visit to a municipal corporation office or a post office is all it takes to wash all your optimism down the drain.
Nobody died in this, btw, because the government funds experts who predicted this event and everyone (including animals) was evacuated. If something like this were to happen in the Himalayas of India or Nepal… hundreds if not thousands would have lost their lives.
If you’d like to get rich or stay rich, I’d encourage you to develop the ability to change your mind.
Most ideas are shitty. So staying fixated on shitty ideas creates an anchoring bias that will weigh you down to the mediocrity of the masses. Learn to change your mind and skate to where the puck is going to be.
Others who can’t change their minds will constantly remind you of a former opinion. Ignore them. They want you to be down there with them so they can feel better about themselves. Don’t fall for it!
The way bollywood is absolutely gonna milk this there's gonna be a scene of a dumbstruck pakistani general explaining to their PM 'Lekin janaab unhone toh mock drill bola tha' camera cuts to paresh rawal smirking at his mobile and the crowd goes wild
I am not jealous of my US friends earn 3x than me, I am not jealous they have 10x savings of mine, I am not jealous of their life style, neither am I jealous of their fancy cars,
I am jealous when they post their kids pictures of playing big public parks, clean rivers & streets.
Until an Indian leaves India and sees the rest of the world, the Indian doesn't realize how exceptionally bad India is in terms of littering and bad driving. No other country on the planet sees wrong side driving like we see in India. Nor trash fortresses like we see in gujarat.

For those who don’t know why ATMs are being installed on trains — it’s simple: TC ko cash chahiye hota hai, UPI nahi!
Jokes aside, there’s a bigger plan behind this move. It’s actually a creative way to generate employment under Modi’s Guarantee:
1-Security guards for the ATMs
2-Thieves targeting cash withdrawals
3-RPF personnel to catch the thieves
4-Extra staff to maintain the ATMs
India has around 4,000 trains — I’ll leave the rest of the calculations to you.
Not a great time for Indians who built wealth basis their education & hard work. You are stuck in India with illiterate bad faith actors with a street veto and abroad your have an increasingly hostile native pop which is electing a govt waiting for you make a mistake so that they can chuck you out.
A friend of mine recently bought a land parcel for ₹60 lakhs. During registration, stamp duty was charged only on ₹21 lakhs. That’s the amount officially transferred to the seller’s bank account. The remaining ₹39 lakhs? Paid in cash. (Yes, may be)
Now ask yourself, who’s the real winner here, and who’s being played?
Tomorrow, if the government decides to acquire that land, how much compensation will my friend get? ₹21 lakhs, the official amount. The ₹39 lakhs in cash? Gone. No proof. No value. No justice.
How many such shady deals are happening every single day across Telangana and the rest of India? How much black money is floating around outside the system while honest professionals are being taxed to death?
Why is it that a skilled professional has no flexibility(Bank and Cash), we get paid through bank accounts, fully taxed, with zero options to save on earnings. But these property deals? They bypass the system entirely.
Why this double standard? Why punish honest taxpayers while turning a blind eye to massive cash based corruption?
Let’s stop pretending , India is not a country where working professionals are rewarded for honesty. If anything, we’re penalized for following the rules.
