1/ At 1.15am on Dec 27, Tamilselvan from Ennore called me and said that people were fleeing from their houses and because nobody was able to breathe. They suspected ammonia gas leaked in the sea near the shore. Many were rushed to hospital that night.

In July 2015, 16-year-old Prakash Bilhore was riding on the back of a motorcycle with his cousin in Mumbai. Tragically, they struck a massive pothole filled with water, causing both of them to be thrown into the air.

Prakash, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, suffered fatal brain damage. His cousin, who was wearing a helmet, walked away with minor injuries.

To cope with his grief, Prakash's heartbroken father, Dadarao, decided to take action regarding Mumbai's notoriously poor roads.

Using sand and gravel collected from building sites, Dadarao filled in almost 600 potholes across Mumbai in the years following his son’s passing.

When asked why he does this, Dadarao said: “Prakash’s sudden death left a huge void in our lives. I do this work to remember and honour him.”

We have written to the @CMOMaharashtra & @mybmc Commisioner seeking a stage wise chronology for completion of Gokhale Bridge which connects Andheri West & East. Since 2018, citizens have been mislead. The CAG report exposed the orchestrated dereliction, corruption & incompetence! Not much has changed since then.

Hence, we have intervened seeking detailed timeline on completion & will not hesitate to move before the Hon'ble Bombay High Court under appropriate jurisdiction to seek further clarity.
