@JosephRReagan This being deleted is in direct opposition to the article he wrote about not apologizing for defending platner lmao come the fuck on ken
Obvious disclaimer that im glad platner dropped out this is a tweet about kens article and the nature of accepting someone who has an unclear past and what happens when that past is worse than one expects
Thats not what the post is though. It just says that people who are apologizing for speaking positively of him aren't at fault because they can't look into the future

@WordsFromBlerds Yeah i never endorsed these things about platner i recognized the red flags and was wary of him but i understand why others may have hoped for better despite that. This person makes the point better
@SeanMcGann98 Emma is really good at explaining her thinking here this is the best "apology"/explanation of why someone would ride for platner up to this point that ive seen
@SlimRambo3001 I agree 100% I just also think that this article is more of a (smug and crass) examination of what everyone's line is, and standing by that. Honestly knowing this guy was a combatant in war was my red line. But i don't think the article excused assault like some say
@_celia_bedelia_@G0AwayHeat Sure. Or it's poorly timed. This would probably be better as a post-mortem type question about how one puts their faith into an unproven, seemingly normal-ish guy and what to do when that trust is betrayed
@G0AwayHeat Yes, it is intentionally dismissive towards people demanding apologies. I don't think it's dismissive about the sexual assault. The article is just not about the sexual assault. It assumes the reader knows the assault is monstrous and disqualifying
@steady_drumbeat Worth noting i dont think its worth policing unless it actually does recoup enough cash to make it worth it. But these mfs gotta be unarmed at the very least
@steady_drumbeat In boston the fare engagement team is unarmed. If we really want to police fares that bad it should be done by unarmed police who are disallowed from using force under any circumstance
@Bollinger_69@moonboycanyon See that's interesting to me. I would've thought After the Hunt alone is the downturn, since I saw so much love for Queer. Might just be anecdotal bias. To me, it was everything I wanted CMBYN to be. Probably a hot take but ah well
@joeroganhq Fucking wrong bro these mfs got birth defects everywhere and inbreeding is super common because of how insular they are. You ever seen some amish mfs in a group? Its not pretty
