At our first Full Council, Reform UK delivered on three clear commitments to the people of Wearside.
- Withdrawing from the City of Sanctuary scheme - replacing ideological branding with a Wearside first approach focused on practical support, strong communities and local accountability.
- Launching a comprehensive review into Houses in Multiple Occupation, ensuring residents’ concerns about the growth, condition and management of HMOs are properly examined.
- Ending the Council’s climate emergency declaration and associated schemes, putting an end to expensive political gestures and bringing focus back to value for money for local taxpayers.
This is what change looks like.
Labour had 52 years to put residents first. Reform is getting on with the job from day one.
Vote Reform. Get Reform.
Andy Burnham is ALREADY moving to grant the Boriswave of millions of unskilled migrants lifetime access to our welfare state by scrapping Mahmood’s ILR reforms.
This will cost the British taxpayer billions.
He is going to be even worse than Starmer.
CALL A GENERAL ELECTION.
🚨Today is the crucial Makerfield by-election.
Do not forgive Labour for their incompetence, broken promises and weak leadership. Britain deserves better.
Polling stations are open until 10pm. Vote Reform UK today and don’t forget your photo ID. ✅
Dear Restore patriots don’t let Labour win this.
Lend your vote to Reform
Don’t let a feud between two men let Andy Burnham in. We patriots all want what’s best for our country our families not rubbing bruised egos ✝️🏴🇬🇧❤️
🚨Please listen to June, anyone thinking of voting for Labour or any other party—DON’T
Another 3 years of Labour — Hell NO
Another term after that with a coalition—Labour/LibDems and worse the Greens.
Vote @reformparty_uk@RobKenyonReform to save us.
It’s too close to call, so every single vote is going to count! Please if you have a vote in Makerfield on Thursday, don’t leave it to chance get out & vote. Vote for local man Rob Kenyon because Makerfield should not be a stepping stone to Downing Street! 🩵 #VoteReform #VoteRob #Makerfield
I am Restore.
But if i lived in Makerfield i would hold my nose and vote Reform!
Why? Because my hatred for Starmer, far outweighs my indifference to Reform.
Restore are not ready yet, by 2029 we will be however!
Which party do you support? And if you lived in Makerfield, where would your X go
@HoodedClaw1974 Restore are to the left of Farage, because it's a party setup by the establishment to block Farage
They just haven't told Restore supporters this
A Plea to the good people of Makerfield - you may feel an affinity with the Restore Party but if you vote for it you get the polar opposite of everything it is in Government. You get Andy Burnham. Please think
long and hard about that for the sake of our country!
I support Reform UK because I’ve read their policies, pledges and listened in person to their MPs -
I believe they are the first step of change in the UK… and realistically, they are the only party on the right that has any chance of a majority in a General Election. Thats clear.
I’m getting abuse from others on the right. That’s your opinion and that’s your right, but half the things I’m receiving are absolutely bonkers.
We all want the same things. Attacking others on the right is ridiculous.
I don’t attack you, I don’t bad mouth you. Everything I say comes from the heart. I owe no one anything.
I want a better future for my kids, Reform are the first viable step to that future.
Let me make it clear where I stand on Rupert Lowe. I don't disagree with most of his policies or his view of what this country needs to happen to take it back. When he first launched his party, I was considering joining not because I would have voted for him but just for financial support.
I would have no issue at all with his party either. If it was under the premise that, when it comes to the general election, if they can't win, they will stand down because we know those votes will go back to Reform. It's a win for the right either way.
But since that doesn't appear to be anywhere on the horizon, he could take enough of the Reform vote to do real harm and damage, not to Reform or, Nigel Farage but to the country.
And what for? spite? malice? something he can't let go of? ego narcissism,? call it what you will. That's why I call him a plastic patriot because his hatred for Nigel Farage goes ahead of his love and care for the country. And he's willing to risk destroying this country because he hates Nigel Farage.
He can't win anything. He never will, and that's not his intent he will only field about 200 candidates in the general elections seats where the Tories won't win, or not without his help, but he could cause the downfall, the complete downfall of this country by splitting the vote. And that, in my opinion, is unforgivable.
These are incredibly worrying times. Rupert Lowe is proudly declaring “I Don’t Care” — and he means it about splitting the vote. Far too many Restore supporters have bought into this, and it should worry every single one of us.
Rupert Lowe is now fully focused on stopping Nigel Farage, even if it costs us the next general election. He’s blinkered. He refuses to see that there simply aren’t enough “far-right” votes to get him to No.10.
Reform supporters will not forgive him, and this stubbornness is starting to look a lot like his failure at Southampton FC. Like it or not, Reform is streets ahead in the polls. In Makerfield, Lowe has zero realistic chance of closing the gap, but every chance of stopping Farage.
Is that really what people want? Another left-wing government? Because if Burnham wins, we will all pay the price — Reform and Restore supporters alike. Don’t bury your heads in the sand. Stop the split. Stop Lowe. Get Farage over the line. #UnityIsStrength #GetFarageOverTheLine
@DoloresTom27@ukJ0N I agree that neither of them will call an election. But things could get a lot worse under Burnham (hard to imagine I know!) while waiting for the next one. Also he is a more likeable personality than Starmer, so he will find it easier to get people on his side.
Suella Braverman makes it crystal clear why the Makerfield by-election is out of the ordinary.
If they choose Andy Burnham they are choosing the next Prime Minister, it will be open borders on steroids, it will be refugee welfare on speed, he wants to take us back into the EU and he thinks a man can be a woman.
Reform are the only party who can stop Burnham and a vote for anyone other than Reform UK is a vote for Burnham.
Your choice Patriots

All I’m hearing out and about today, is pure anger at politicians sneering and heckling Farage in Parliament, when he’s saying what so many of us are thinking.
Dumb move MPs, you’ve stirred another hornets nest. You have no idea of real Britain.
You’ll lose your seats soon.
The time is now.
Kemi joined Starmer.
The Lib Dems snivelled like cretins.
Lowe went missing.
Enough is enough. It’s time to say enough!
#StandWithFarage
Just remember the next time Rupert Lowe & his cronies claim Nigel Farage is “the establishment” that the entire political & media establishment is currently lined up against Nigel Farage because he dares to tell the truth about what is really happening in this country.
Nigel Farage is not “whipping up division”.
He is calling for the removal of a policy regime that has actually whipped up division for 30 yrs.
It tells whites they are racist.
It tells Brits they are oppressors.
It tells police, teachers, university lecturers they are “anti-racist activists” — not neutral officials.
It even led Keir Starmer & David Lammy to think it’s a good idea to give more lenient prison sentences to minorities.
This is what Labour and the Tories created - this is their legacy.
And this is what led police officers to prioritise allegations of “racism” over doing their job correctly.
It is what allowed the grooming gangs to flourish.
It is what prevented the security guard from stopping the Manchester Islamist bombing.
It is what prevented officials from stopping Axel Rudakubana.
It is what stopped them from detaining the Nottingham murderer.
And it has now clearly also played a role in the murder of Henry Nowak.
If we really want to end division in Britain then it starts with what Nigel Farage is calling for.
Treat everybody equally before the law —irrespective of their race & ethnicity.
End political correctness.
Reverse Keir Starmer’s crackdown on free speech.
Stop trying to control what we can say about some identity groups but not others.
Stop politicising our supposedly independent public institutions (which we pay for).
Root out all diversity, equality, and inclusion policies in those institutions, none of which are based on evidence anyway.
And stop reshaping our entire society around this perverse, dangerous, unBritish ideology.
Only Nigel Farage understands what needs to be done.
He’s not causing division - he is trying to stop it.
