Week 2 just started, and the engine has my team behind 4-5-0.
It gives me REB, ST, BLK, TO. It gives them PTS, AST, 3PTM, FG%, FT%.
The engine doesn't flatter you. Ask HoopValuator which category is cheapest to flip.
Rankings → This week, real league, opponent blurred.
Know where you stand before the week starts. Front Office beta Rankings: every team side by side, a category heatmap, and this week's and next week's matchups projected by category.
Every number comes from the engine. Real league. 7-day free trial, no card.
AI can trivially read and understand application code, so that becomes the source of truth. What purpose then, if any, do unit tests provide?
Every time I make a change, AI just changes all the unit tests anyway, so there's no safety. It's all overhead.
F around and find out.
They squandered a first mover advantage and are putting out a sus strategy of selling the fix to their broken copilot- claude coworker which is a costco clone of claude.
BREAKING: Microsoft, $MSFT, is offering buyouts to 60,000 workers as part of the company’s efforts to cut costs amid AI adoption, per Bloomberg.
Personnel on select teams in the US, Canada, India, and the UK at a vice president level and below will be eligible.
This reflects ~27% of Microsoft's total workforce.
I don't think you guys appreciate just how bad Gemini is at agentic work. The hallucination rates are truly surreal.
In one run, it hallucinated:
- line numbers (quoted line 173 in a 72-line file)
- random ip addresses
- command/script arguments
- function exports and returns
5. makes costco version of claude (cowork, code, etc)
6. sells it as the solution to #4.
People really think enterprises will fall for this bait and switch?
Sus strategy from MSFT.
1. early first mover advantage with the oai relationship
2. shove dumb copilot into everyone's crevice and squander advantage
3. satya makes post "ai agents are your enemy blah blah"
4. releases a new 'frontier' tier (m365 e7)

I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined.
I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top.
The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever.
My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply.
To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had.
For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new.
If you want more excellent Claude Code content, you should follow @addyosmani , @lydiahallie, @_catwu, @ClaudeDevs and of course @bcherny who started it all.
I can finally talk about Mass Effect Universe.
Since Bioware closed I can now reveal that I was part of the Mass Effect Council, saw what BioWare was building, and provided feedback during development.
• Set 600+ years after the Reaper War
• You play as a customizable N7 agent
• Instead of being a walking gun rack, you're a cross between John Wick and James Bond
• Shepard's legacy preserved, regardless of your ending
• A galaxy divided into three major factions
• Humanity, Krogan, Batarians, and more allied together
• Council races forming their own alliance
• The Geth emerging as a third superpower
• A galactic Cold War instead of another Reaper style invasion with a shadowy adversary
• Geth-built megastructures
• Connections between the Milky Way and Andromeda
• Experimental technology implanted in you as a unique point of difference
• Hacking and manipulating the environment
• See through walls, identify systems, remotely trigger hazards and more
• Handcrafted missions like ME1-3
• But with Hitman-style freedom in how you complete them
• Brutal close-range executions
• Squadmates who can clash with each other
• Romance wasn't being sanitised
• Liara returns - now an incredibly powerful Asari Matriarch
From what I saw, BioWare was making Mass Effect for us, the fans, not for people who don't exist.
It looked incredible.
And now we may never get to play it.

NEW AD: Have you seen these anti-Talarico attack ads?
Elon Musk paid for nearly all of them.
The world's first trillionaire knows if he drags the most corrupt politician in Texas across the finish line, Ken Paxton will owe him everything.
@ElonMusk: Texas is not for sale.
the holy grail is formal verification for all code
currently code has tests (a lossy proxy for the behavior of the code)
in reality, code should be more like math. in order for code to flourish, we need ways to formally verify any program
