@WheelieInvestor what do you make of the close today dropping from $325 to $310 close in like 5 minutes? then the 65M shares traded in after hours to move it $3 bucks to $313??? Some say thats bearish sign for monday but hope NOT!
@RealTomBusby what do you make of todays close in $MRVL? was holding solid above $325 all afternoon then 15 mins before close it flushed to $310. After hours back up to $313 showing insane 65M volume ahead of Monday's inclusion in S&P 500..... some interpret that as bearish for monday???
@HeidingOut@neilsbhatia $MRVL was holding $325 nearly all afternoon today then 15 mins before close it flushed to $310. After hours was up to $313 on 65M shares traded which I assume is something with index funds since its being added to S&P on Monday. Are you expecting further drop on Monday?
@TheValueTrade I started a position Friday around $82 after it dumped. Huge concern if the upcoming launch doesn’t go well it probably tanks it another 20%.
How big of a concern is it to you about the possibility that the launch doesn’t go well and it gets hammered again?
@markminervini BIG question everyone wants to know is are you thinking this is just a short term (days) move and scalp trade -1-2% short OR are you seeing longer term move down -5-10% in $QQQ and $SPY and carrying this for few weeks? Many talking heads saying buy the dip, but not a buyer yet
@Crazystockfans2 you think this is another semi's "buy the dip" or start of small correction or consolidation? Seems more correction and time to ride $SOXS at least couple days.
@KeithMcCullough you think $SOX slides further tomorrow? History shows when SMH drops 10% or more (5 times its happened) markets were significantly lower in the weeks following and was not buy the dip time.... SOX due for another 10% drop before consolidating and next leg up
@asklivermore@pythagoras3322 hello @asklivermore do you see SOX pulling back again this week or do you feel last week was the "buy the dip" moment? Long term am very bullish on memory names but hard to think these continue going straight up without some consolidation / backing & filling right?
@MikeP_PMG been saying the same thing for a couple weeks yet $SOXX keeps bouncing hard from any sell off and $SOXS keeps tanking. Thought today for sure would be red for semi's based on the KOPSI decline but not so.
