Went to a nail salon today, so I read a Cosmo, which I rarely do. It's aimed at twenty-something women. One feature was about how hot it is to give a hand job to your best friend's husband (pardon the language but that was verbatim). Second feature was about how great it is to cut off ties with your family and that 26 % of young people have done so. Those were the two feature stories. We are being infiltrated by people who want us to collapse culturally or to just go to Hell, or both.
@ChandlerPolice I had the pleasure to know and work with Richard while working for CPD. His love of the community, Chandler schools, students, families, businesses, and police work made him a standout. He was well respected not only with fellow PD officers but also with the whole community.
@GilbertYourTown@HDSGilbert If your from Gilbert add this to your list of must see places. Don't forget the model train exhibit. It has a mock up of downtown Gilbert and surrounding area that should not be missed.
#OTD in 1980: Trans American Flight 209, a B-707, lands safely in Chicago (US) after crew was incapacitated by food poisoning. An ex-fighter pilot travelling as a passenger, along with a flight attendant, took control, supported by an ATC specialist and a former USAF captain.
The Gilbert airport was an important part of early Gilbert in support of the agriculture business and basic pilot training. It was located where the current Mesquite Jr. High campus is now.
Yes, Borman and Lovell spent 14 days together in this small capsule. Today in 1965, they returned to Earth. If you already think that sounds claustrophobic, just wait until you see this 360 view of the capsule's interior: https://t.co/trj2PKbCJb
Profiles of all 1,177 sailors and Marines who died on the USS Arizona during the Pearl Harbor attack have been compiled for the first time by a Tucson woman who spent more than five years researching their stories. https://t.co/gWi0FT7BF6
Glad to see they visited the school's excellent media technology room/library. That school has one of the best media technology teachers (former Chaparral teacher of the year) in the entire state in Mrs. Arnett 🙂.
Chaparral Elementary students and staff met with district leadership and governing board members during the superintendent visit to discuss their favorite parts of learning and the aspects that make Chaparral unique.
