She has a heart that truly cares about the people who are not merely IMPACTED by the failures of medicine, in many cases every minute of every day is literally CONTROLLED by the realities of medical practice that has hurt instead of helped. Often, unintended consequences are a result of medicine practiced on auto-pilot.

When the agencies charged with protecting our health are up to their eyeballs in evidence that proves an epidemic of failures, yet they still can’t see what they see, is it any wonder that to explain the now 1 in 31 likelihood of a physical or developmental catastrophe they announce that we’re just better at diagnosing what was always there. We don’t simply have deaf, dumb and blind protectors - they are so falling down drunk with power and their own “rightness” that they say the absurd and punish us for failing to genuflect to thank them for their wisdom.

FYI, some “not so young” republicans have been thinking and writing for ourselves before LLMs were making human writers obsolete.

Why isn’t Senate confirming every Trump nominee? Now? What is WRONG with Sen Thune? Dems have no power unless Thune LETS them have power. Thune could make each vote 5 min votes instead of 30 hours, IF he wanted.

Every single delay tactic by Dems can be overcome by Republicans just staying in session and MAKING Dems stay also to keep the “filibuster” going. They will not be able to do that IF Thune just puts on his big boy pants and says “we are not leaving the floor until the nominees are confirmed”.

We should be able to trust our regulatory agencies to thoroughly examine all of the data, not just what is paid for by the manufacturers & stockholders.
When agencies fail us, our only safety net is the legislators whom we put in positions of power to represent US, not the corporations, not even the state.  WE THE PEOPLE.

Georgia senators & representatives swear to support the Constitution "on all questions and measures" which come before them.
Article 1. Section 1 states that protecting the RIGHTS OF PERSONS is the paramount duty of government.

Article 1. Section II. states "Government is instituted for the protection, security and benefit of the people" and reminds those in government that they are the "trustees and servants of the people and are at all times amenable to them."

How can a servant of the people justify burying bills that directly address the health and welfare of those citizens? 
A legislator may not like the bill and may even vehemently disagree with the bill, but should that bias control what is brought into the light to examine and consider?
Our legislators are better than this. 
They must be humble and teachable and give fair hearing to consequential concerns of those they represent. 
That is what it means to protect and benefit the people.
