So today CTV News decided not to show any of the Walk With Israel march. Instead they ran a story about the 5th anniversary of the terror attack on a Muslim family in London Ontario. Totally ignored the massive anti-Semitism happening in Canada every single day. Disgusting.
ARE YOU SITTING DOWN?
Before Omar Alghabra was an MP, he lobbied for the legalization of the terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah.
Today Mark Carney made him part of new committee tasked with fighting Jew-hate in Canada.
Omar hasn't condemned October 7 and is a fan of UNRWA.
Recipe for disaster:
A reliever that imploded on a regular basis in the 9th inning combined with a manager who continually watches him do it.

Steven Guilbeault is leaving federal politics, and not a moment too soon.
He may go down as one of the ministers who most aggressively weaponized science, funding questionable research groups like the Canadian Climate Institute and other pet projects to reinforce a single “climate crisis” narrative.
Anyone claiming Guilbeault truly believed in science is fooling themselves. He treated science like a buffet — picking only what supported his agenda. That’s not science.
He even misquoted me in the House of Commons, attributing claims to me that I have never said or published. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how evidence and dissent were handled under his watch.
Good riddance.
This just shows that these people are scumbags AND stupid.
Not only do these pro-Hamas types do something the Nazis would do with the hanging - they also drag the Habs flag into it, thereby enraging several million of us backing the only Canadian team left in the playoffs.
Stupid and evil: quite a combination, Team Hamas, but you did it.
You want sleaze? Here's sleaze.
1. Despite a $120,000 family income, @oliviachow lived in the publicly-subsidized Hazelburn co-op in Toronto and paid $800 a month for a three bedroom + den unit.
2. According to the co-op, she should have been paying hundreds more.
3. Thousands of people were on the waiting lists for the kinds of units Chow occupied. She moved out shortly after getting caught by the media.
4. All of that is verifiably true. And it is considered so damaging, Chow's campaign has done secret focus group research on what to say about it.
5. That's sleazy, Tom. #topoli
Phenomenal statement by Democratic Congressmen Josh Gottheimer (NJ) and Jared Moskowitz (FL) condemning Texas congressional candidate Maureen Galindo’s disturbing remarks about “putting Zionists in camps.”
"we will force a vote to expel her every single day we are here."
YES.
@kinsellawarren@CanadiensMTL We will find out very soon if Carolina is that good or just had weak opponents in the first two rounds. The Canadiens are reminiscent of the 1971 team that upset Boston, held of Minnesota and then upset Chicago. Rookie goaltenders in '71 and '26.
The CBC "prank show" deception scandal is getting so much worse.
The producers (operating under fake identities/fake company names with fake websites) told a number of RCMP veterans - people who dedicated their lives to serving on the frontlines - that they were invited to film for a show called "Life After Service." A ceremony to thank them for their service would follow, and they were told dignitaries would be present. This would take place at the CBC Vancouver studio. They were told to come in uniform.
When the RCMP vets arrived at the CBC Vancouver studio on March 25th and 26th, the "pranksters" took their phones away, which they claimed was CBC Vancouver studio policy. The former RCMP officers were also placed in front of an audience of what they were told were about two dozen "journalists." And it was sprung on them that this was a "live broadcast", with "media availability" afterwards!
Then the producers switched up the whole session to be not about life after service, but the historical wrongs committed by the RCMP against indigenous peoples - to berate these vets for being part of the RCMP.
There is so much more but I am hoping the individuals targeted in this elaborate scheme will be able to share their stories themselves.
Seriously, what even sounds remotely funny or silly about this concept? It is just sick and cruel
@CBCNews and @APTNNews... what are you thinking?
The cynicism & hyper partisanship on this site can be exhausting.
I see criticism of Conservatives like @erinotoole & @lraitt for agreeing to serve on the Prime Minister’s Canada-US relations advisory panel.
Some say it represents “patronage.”
To be clear, membership on advisory panels like this are not paid positions. Sometimes they will offer modest per diems for longer meetings requiring travel. But there is no material reward for participating in work like this. If anything it represents an opportunity cost for busy people who give up paid work or billable time in order to participate.
In other words, it’s not patronage.
Cynics, brace yourself: perhaps what motivates people to set aside partisanship and do voluntary work like this is an authentic sense of duty, of public service that puts country ahead of party.
To the partisans who think it’s disloyal to accept a role like this: please remember that severely normal Canadians do not see the world through your hyper partisan lens. They expect Canadians to work together across party lines to help defend the country from external threats, like Donald Trump’s aggression.
(Remember Stephen Harper appointing John Manley to lead the advisory panel on the Afghan military deployment; or appointing Gary Doer Ambassador to the US.)
Finally, to Conservatives: one of the most unattractive feature of the contemporary left is its tendency to politicize absolutely everything. Don’t repeat their error. Conservatism is not a rigid ideological doctrine requiring loyalty tests and the demonization of our political adversaries.
The fact that Erin O'Toole and Lisa Raitt are willing to step up and serve on this advisory committee reinforces that Conservatives are willing to put differences aside and collaborate for the good of the country when appropriate.
With real actions, not just words.
That's good for Canada and will be good for the party.
BOMBSHELL: Retired editor-in-chief of the Calgary Herald blows the whistle on Canadian media

"the era of independent media is over"
