Can someone explain to me why State Question 832 is being voted on during the primary and not the general election? This should not be allowed. It also is on a separate ballot when there is plenty of space on the primary ballot?
@MazzeiMike@JakeMerrick4Gov
Tomorrow is School Board Election Day.
And most people don’t even know it’s happening.
That’s not by accident.
School board elections are scattered across random dates, low turnout, low visibility… and that’s how you end up with people pushing agendas that don’t reflect Oklahoma values.
We can fix this.
As Governor, I will:
• Move school board elections to align with presidential and statewide elections
• Require party affiliation so voters know exactly what candidates stand for
• Hold school boards accountable to the people they serve
And we’re not stopping there.
We’re going to raise reading scores by implementing the Mississippi model
We’re going to restore order and discipline in the classroom
And we’re going to support teachers who are trying to do the right thing
Oklahoma has unlimited potential.
But we’re not going to reach it if we let a broken system keep deciding the future of our kids.
It’s time to bring common sense back to education.
This passed with 61.94% of the vote. Being a tax increase it needed a super majority of 60%. There were 2,664 votes cast in a city with a population over 36,000.
@StephenM If the law is being followed (and I suspect it is) then why would we let someone hamstring the President from the oath he swore to the constitution? Time to start ignoring these guys.
MULLIN: “$73 million dollars on DEI last year. Cuz that made us safer? Are we serious?”
RUBIO: "Our hope is to bring some sanity for how this money is being spent."
MULLIN: "America First. Is it in our interest? or is it not in our interest. The taxpayers want accountability."

Hope Florida isn’t under criminal investigation. It’s under character assassination—by bureaucrats who failed upward and reporters with as little writing talent as they have integrity
And that, my friends, is why they’re panicking.

NEW: NIH Director @DrJBhattacharya sparks mass walkout from NIH employees after suggesting COVID-19 may have originated from the Wuhan lab — and that NIH helped fund it.
"It's possible that the pandemic was caused by research conducted by human beings, and it's also possible that the NIH partly sponsored that research."
Dozens of NIH staff stormed out. Bhattacharya replied:
“Nice to have free speech. You’re welcome, you guys.”
Before COVID hit, the NIH was funding risky gain-of-function work on bat coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute — the same lab the CIA, FBI, and DOE say COVID likely leaked from.
After the walkout, Bhattacharya continued:
"If it's true that we sponsored research that caused the pandemic — and if you look at polls of the American people, that's what most people believe, and I’ve looked at the scientific evidence and I believe it — [then] what we have to do is make sure that we don’t engage in research that is any risk…to human populations."
These NIH employees should all be fired.
