Sidekiq's default fetch has a dark side: once a job is popped from Redis, it lives only in worker memory. If the process gets killed(OOM or other SIGKILL) mid-job - no failure, no retry, the job is simply gone

Thanks to CC I've built a workout app that suits me perfectly! I don't know Swift at all but nevertheless I've created a really nice slick liquid glass UI. I use it everyday to track my food and weights, ask AI what I can improve, etc.I'm waiting for approve from Apple to publish

As part of my moving from macos to linux ecosystem(arch/omarchy) I needed a way to sync my stuff between machines

instead of icloud - I use @Nextclouders which allows me to not just sync files and stuff, but use it for syncing other apps

I use apple notes and to sync it between devices I installed Joplin and pointed it to nextcloud WebDAV url, so it can sync notes between all devices
