@autocorrect2_0 Another interesting data point for this graphic would be to display maternal mortality per live birth.
Would show how rare the "extreme medical scenario" that is used to defend unrestricted abortion.
@Protestia I'm wrecked. As a father, I don't know if anyone could've kept me from viscerally defending my child in that situation.
2 things are true: No one should see this; It needs to be seen.
@megbasham Anyone who has watched ballet knows that it is as physically demanding as many sports (if not more so in some ways). Fred Astaire, Danny Kaye, etc.
Do you think we lost some of this when we abandoned classical education?
@farmingandJesus We talked through this exact thing this morning in Sunday school when going through 1 Cor 3. It's hard to not always get to see the fruit of our labor but as long as we build on Christ as the foundation the "precious" additions will be revealed in the end โค๏ธ
@ScottAdamsSays Everyone talks about the AI induced job losses, but no one talks about the productivity gains... This is going to be the next phase of the industrial revolution.
@MikeWingerii We just spent the last 4 months going through Proverbs in our Sunday small group. Was such an awesome yet challenging study. Chapter 1 and 2 so clearly preach the Gospel and blew my mind.
@autocorrect2_0 Every time Faith comes up, we try to repeat to our friends and Sunday school class the following: We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone. It's sobering to see how much we, as Christians, so easily forget this truth
@Mike_kim714@Top100Rick Elite golfers are a different breed, most don't understand. Better than scratch in high school (only juco offers) no chance beyond. You have to have the swing and somehow stay sane/balanced mentally. Then catch lightning in the bottle and find your form when it actually counts
@MyGolfSpy Will offer a qualification..."unless there are gimmicks". Played in tournaments with free throws, purchased tee shots, hand of blackjack to play forward tees, string in place of putts." Not inconceivable to break fifty when everything inside 3 feet is 0 strokes
@tyromper Personally your posts are encouraging. It's refreshing to see a man who loves his family, pursues his wife,and loves Christ. I love to see others putting value in the things that actually matter.
@tyromper 2/2
Do hard things: Set up something that requires actual commitment. Early morning breakfast, workout classes, Bible study, etc.
"Quantity to quality": be consistent and you will see who genuinely wants to participate and be authentic. 6 months later community will coalesce.
@tyromper Thinking about this because I've noticed similar things in the generation coming behind us. The best thing I can think of is to couple these 2 ideas. 1. "do hard things" and 2. "Out of quantity time comes quality time".
