nobody wanted Arsenal to win the Prem because we thought their fans were gonna be unbearable and annoying, but whats ended up happening is everyone else has become completely unbearable instead, crying and belittling their achievements as much as possible just to fuel agendas
Emmanuel Petit on Premier League clubs mocking Arsenal after the final defeat:
🗣️ “I have to say, I found it embarrassing.
The second Arsenal lost, some Premier League clubs couldn't wait to jump on social media and remind everyone about their European trophies.
That tells you everything.
Instead of supporting an English club representing the league on the biggest stage in club football, they were busy celebrating Arsenal's pain.
For me, that's not rivalry. That's insecurity.
Arsenal were 90 minutes away from doing something special, and rather than show respect, people were desperately searching through the history books for old trophies to post online.
Why? Because they were terrified of seeing Arsenal join that club.
Let's be honest, some of these clubs spent the entire season watching Arsenal compete at a level they couldn't reach.
The jealousy was obvious.
The moment Arsenal fell short, they treated it like they had won something themselves.
That's the mentality of people who would rather see Arsenal fail than focus on their own success.
The trophy may have slipped away, but the reaction from some rivals showed exactly how much Arsenal still live rent-free in their heads.”
Rogers just won Europa with Aston Villa, Lookman won it with Atalanta, Bissouma won it with spurs but we’ve to put Bruno in Arsenal or City before he can help his team beat Villarreal in Europa league finals..😂
You start to see why London based Manchester United fans hate Arsenal. They can never experience this. Where would they go to celebrate? Sky sports HQ?
This has arguably been the hardest Premier League to win. Previous champions spending £400m in the summer. Pep buying two of the best players in the league in January. Three teams making European finals. A CL team in 17th. Fewest points between 1st and 18th in over a decade.
I saw Bayern 10-2 twice
I saw us bottle the league to Leicester
I saw the Monaco 2nd leg
I saw Baku
I saw the Atletico UEL semifinal
I saw us concede 33 shots to Watford
I saw Newcastle 21/22
I saw 8-2
I saw it all
100% a red card but the corruption claim is hilarious, if they wanted an Arsenal title they would’ve sent Bernardo and Nunes off vs Brentford as well as a pen, Khusanov vs us and Bernardo would’ve conceded a pen vs Everton.
The refs are just awful, we’ve been saying it for years
