Die Rechnung, die niemand hören will

Prof. Bernd Raffelhüschen hat in der Studie „Ehrbarer Staat? Fokus Migration“ die fiskalische Bilanz der aktuellen Zuwanderung auf Basis der Generationenbilanz 2023 exakt berechnet.

Bei einer Nettomigration von rund 293.000 Personen pro Jahr und einer Integrationsdauer von sechs Jahren steigt die Nachhaltigkeitslücke von 347,4 auf 497,1 Prozent des BIP. Das bedeutet eine zusätzliche implizite Belastung von etwa 5,8 Billionen Euro.

Selbst bei höherer Qualifikation oder zusätzlicher Fachkräfteanwerbung bleibt die Bilanz negativ. Der deutsche Sozialstaat ist strukturell überfordert: Er verspricht Leistungen, die weder Einheimische noch Zuwanderer über ihren Lebenszyklus vollständig finanzieren können.

Späte, ungesteuerte oder integrationsresistente Zuwanderung erzeugt langfristige Nettobelastungen bei Renten, Pflege, Gesundheit und Transferleistungen.

Die Konsequenz ist zwingend: Ein sofortiger Wechsel zu einem strengen Selektionsmodell nach Qualifikation, Alter, Erwerbsfähigkeit und kultureller Passfähigkeit. Konsequente Remigration bei Ablehnung oder Straffälligkeit. Kein Familiennachzug ins Sozialsystem. Wer nicht netto beiträgt, darf nicht dauerhaft belasten.

Die Zahlen sind eindeutig. Wer weiter an der offenen, ideologisch getriebenen Migration festhält, betreibt intergenerativen Raubbau auf Kosten der noch nicht Geborenen.

On the Blue Origin accident

The Blue Origin accident is a serious setback, but fortunately no one was killed. It is also important to keep the bigger picture in mind. SpaceX still has a major lead over Blue Origin. SpaceX achieved the first successful landing of an orbital rocket booster in December 2015 and has since made rocket reuse a normal part of its operations. Blue Origin, by contrast, only achieved its first successful landing of an orbital booster with New Glenn in early 2025, about ten years later. One accident is therefore unlikely to change the balance between the two companies.

Failures are a normal part of any new industry. The first three launches of SpaceX's Falcon 1 rocket all failed before the company finally succeeded on its fourth attempt. If SpaceX had given up after those failures, the commercial space industry would look very different today.

The same was true in the early days of aviation. Crashes were common, aircraft were unreliable, and many pioneers paid a high price. Yet those setbacks did not stop aviation from becoming one of the safest and most important industries in the world.

It is also worth noting that spaceflight has become much safer over the past ten years. Modern rockets usually achieve success rates above 95 percent, and the best launch providers do even better. SpaceX, for example, has completed hundreds of Falcon 9 missions with a success rate above 99 percent. That makes it one of the most reliable rockets ever built. Accidents still make headlines because they are rare, not because they are common.

At the same time, we should not pretend that total safety is possible. Every great age of exploration involved risk. The explorers who opened up the Arctic and Antarctica accepted dangers that would seem extreme today, and some of them lost their lives. Space will be no different. There will be accidents, and there will be deaths. The real question is whether we are willing to accept some risk in order to achieve progress. Throughout history, the answer has been yes. Without people willing to take risks, there would have been no great voyages, no aviation, and no space age.
