I want to be so wrong at the end of the 26/27 season but this is exactly how I feel! This guy isn’t taking us anywhere, may be in 4/5 years time but not immediately
Am I the only one not feeling confident about Andoni Iraola going to @LFC ?
His stats are nowhere near Arne Slot’s, and while I don’t want Slot back either, I still don’t see what’s so special about Iraola.
Win rates:2024/25
Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth): 39.5%
Arne Slot (Liverpool): 67.9%
2025/26 Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth): 35%
Arne Slot (Liverpool): 52.8%
History also shows that Premier League managers coming from smaller clubs to big teams have rarely succeeded in recent times.
What am I missing?
Wow, I grew up in the East suburbs of Kampala and I swear Buddugala was just a rumour - place that I thought never existed and people just used it for banter!! Just Googled it and found out it’s in Goma Subcounty of Mukono District. At this rate the city will soon link up with Lugazi!!!
People arguing that the majority of the people in the stand were plain clothed security??? What is wrong with that! That’s ok! Our president’s protection should also do the same so that our president can be secure at an event like that without inconveniencing others! If that was Lugogo, all the roads around the Arena would have blocked and there would be a ripple effect in the entire city!
The joy of seeing muzzukulu wa Serwano Katumba graduate at UBC is indescribable. A journey from Agakhan hospital- Nairobi to the world. Congratulations Ryan—God speed as you step into adulthood. 🎓✨
@M_____i_JR Until we all agree that calling our mediocrity is not lugezigezi, we are doomed as a country! How do people even live with this for a single day …. Let an hour?
We are watching a lot of movies! 20 years ago, I used to run on dusty roads and streets of Kampala, and we waved to each whenever you pumped into another runner, ………: these days when you do it, oba the runners of today think you are trying to beg for something, they won’t even acknowledge you!
Thank you for sharing your perspective on architecture in Uganda, which by the way I must say is not only by Ugandan architects! However, I believe it’s important to recognize that beauty is subjective, and what one person may see as beautiful, another may not.
As an architect, I will probably differ from your interpretation of beauty in many ways than you will ever know, but that doesn’t imply a lack of skill.
Architecture encompasses much more than aesthetics; it involves an understanding of materials, standards, spatial utilisation, ergonomics, and the overall functionality of a space. Each building tells a story and serves a purpose beyond mere appearance.
I am happy to celebrate the diverse visions and skills within our community, as they contribute to a rich tapestry of architecture in Kampala and beyond! I am actually more saddened by what most people call beautiful buildings nga they have to survive on air conditioning 24/7 in Kampala!!
@b_guilbert@Denis_Jjuuko Do the Ugandan Architects have the skills to design such beautiful buildings? If they did, we would be seeing some of those in Kampala from the 500 currently available. But as you have asserted your self, we have the worst buildings may be because of the lack of skills
The route has been scouted, and the program is out.
The key question is, are you ready to represent "you" as you run so she can.
It's now or never. See you tomorrow, 17th May 2026, at Millenium Grounds Lugogo

Kampala's slums need an urban renewal plan. We can build decent housing and infrastructure for bonafide inhabitants of the capital city. We would use the money we save from thieves.
Wowwww!!! I am so much in love with the French President now! Typical Africans always talking (sometimes on top of their voices) when someone is speaking at the podium! Completely DISRESPECTFUL! We have to change people, we can do better!!
French President Emmanuel Macron interrupted the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, Kenya, to hush the crowd as artists and young speakers addressed the crowd, calling the noise 'a total lack of respect' https://t.co/PUpxw70qaL
