@Serene_Sentinel @OldHollowTree To be an incidental pollinator you have to be visiting a flower without the diet of eating nectar or pollen, like a spider. Wasps are essential pollinators just as much as beetles, bees, flies, hummingbirds, moths, butterflies, etc. yes it isn’t as much as those. (1/2)

@scadsobees @OldHollowTree There was a research done on german yellowjackets preying on honeybees (they both co-evolved and have a predator and prey relationship) and bee predation from attacks on beehives are LOW, 80% of the time the wasp flees, the second most likely probability is the death of the wasp
