Great session with some Yellow Wagtails in Northumberland yesterday in the evening light - this male sat up nicely, looking magnificent blending in to his surroundings...
We had a surprise visit to a #NewForest stream recently. This #Razorbill was recorded on a trail camera probably resting after some weather pushed it off course.
The Razorbill is a coastal seabird and would usually be found in marine or intertidal water.

In less than two hours today @alan23982 and I clocked 6 different kinds of raptor in the same place. What a blinking treat. Near Wykeham Forest.
This is a Goshawk - seeing off the much larger Red Kite from it's planned nesting area. 😍 @RoeDeerDiary@nybirdnews
Another highlight from the Pyrenees were the Lammergeiers. We saw them in several places but this adult showed particularly well as it regularly returned to the cliffs.
Stills cleaned up and cropped as best I can from the video of the male Hen Harrier, Peregrine Falcon, and Merlin in the same frame. Second photo shows Hen Harrier & Merlin perched next to each other. That's like the planets aligning. Shellness Beach, Kent.
OK folks, here's something you don't see every day. Literally. A male Hen Harrier, harassing a Peregrine Falcon, and oh, that just happens to be a Merlin watching the commotion. @Natures_Voice@RSPBEngland
🤯🤯 bonkers views of the scops tonight . After a tense hour and a half glimpsing it in the thermals it was eventually found 20 feet away from the crowd right out in the open while we were busy scanning the trees 😂
That was an eventful evening... cocktails and watching Stranger Things turned into a panic to try and get a lift (due to the cocktails), which materialised into watching a SCOPS OWL in a park in Swansea! 🤯
How extraordinary it was to see a Scops Owl tonight locally here in Gower and in December of all months! A fabulous little bird that was hunting in a suburban park. #GowerBirds#ScopsOwl@RareBirdAlertUK
This juvenile #BarredWarbler was a surprise catch whilst garden ringing today here on the Gower coast. There has been a sudden influx of Blackcaps here that it may have been amongst. Species 69 on the garden ringing list #BirdRinging#GowerBirds
Amazing to see this gorgeous Long-eared Owl nestled on the south coast cliffs @FI_Obs. It's precarious choice to rest shown in the second image with crashing waves behind it!
