a lot of women have internal conflict with regard to religion. strict adherence to the scriptures, which are explicitly and unequivocally patriarchal, goes against everything we believe in. at the same time, most cannot up and leave religion because we were brought up with it
🚨BREAKING: 68 Lakh passengers gone in one quarter. India’s biggest airline is already being marked for a loss.
Domestic air traffic in Q2FY27 stood at 3.67 crore passengers, against 4.35 crore in Q1FY27 and 3.89 crore in Q2FY26. That is a 16% sequential crash and a 6% fall year on year the sharpest quarterly drop in at least five years.
Jefferies and Goldman Sachs see IndiGo’s Q2 net loss, before forex, at about Rs.695 crore. Forex hit on top: roughly ₹1,000 crore.
Market leader. Empty seats. Costs that do not fall with traffic. The Q2 print is the test.
Some of my close relatives are like this. No matter how much you do for them, they’ll still talk shit about you behind your back while being insanely jealous of you.
That’s exactly why I keep my personal life private, and I’ll keep my wedding and other achievements private too.
marriage expenses were approx 25L with sangeeth.
all my father-in-law had to comment on right after my parents left was how the caterer passed him no water when asked once. he kept on talking about how bad the caterer was the whole way until we reached home. never a positive word about the sangeeth, the mandap decoration, the reception, the arrangements, the cards, the accomodation, the good food or the gazillion other positives.
lesson:- your DIL never likes it if you belittle her parents and their efforts infront of her. never expect love from her if this is how you behave.
indian gen z women look at nara smith sitting in LA and think they would like to be trad wives. sweetheart, in india, life will look more like gopi bahu's if you walk down this path. lock in.
@Guardian_Vyala no no not like that. statutory recognition under state level cooperative acts (like gcs) help with liability, legal recognition, suing/counter suing etc but give autonomy in ops and decisions
> why can't you treat them as your own parents
because they are NOT my parents. they did not raise me, educate me, spend their effort and resources on me. they are his parents. i am only related by marriage not blood. they aint my parents and will never be
want to clarify.
some in the comments said, why can't you treat them as your own parents? why is it so difficult to cook for 2 more?
it's never a problem if they treat me as their own. if they help me in the kitchen. if they be considerate towards me and cook for themselves atleast once a day.
my mom, the moment she comes home, helps me cut vegetables. she cooks curry, while i prepare dal and rice. she self serves and asks others to serve for themselves. basically she treats me as a person.
that's never the case with in-laws. they won't help in the kitchen. even in whatever i cook, they point out the negatives. they say that's not the way how you prepare it. will they help then? no. will they self serve if I'm in meetings, no. they wait for me to come out of my room to serve them.
it all starts from morning. tea for one, milk for one, coffee for one. tiffins with 2 kinds of chutney. a curry and dal for lunch. again tea or coffee in the evenings. then another curry and rice for dinner for one. tiffin for the other. for 10 days.
what's the problem? you can order food right? no. they want home cooked food. they won't eat outside food. can i atleast order chapathis? no. they don't like chapathis. can i order idli, dosa batter from outside. in the place i live in, the pre made batter is not yet available. can i manage with a cook. yes but they don't like the food prepared by maids. and my maid, at the right time resigned 😭😭 I'm searching for another maid.
imagine my mental health. it's easy to cook with help. not easy without any help but a ton of expectations. I'm not an expert chef. i just learnt cooking after college like every boy.
