Flydubai Flight FZ1073 में को-पायलट के हमले के बाद गंभीर रूप से घायल होने के बावजूद उन्होंने हिम्मत नहीं छोड़ी। उन्होंने कॉकपिट का दरवाजा खोलकर केबिन क्रू और यात्रियों को हमलावर को काबू करने का मौका दिया।

उनकी सूझबूझ और साहस ने विमान में सवार 174 लोगों की जान बचाने में अहम भूमिका निभाई।

9750+ घंटे के अनुभवी कैप्टन स्मित, मुंबई के घाटकोपर के रहने वाले हैं और फिलहाल तबुक, सऊदी अरब के अस्पताल में उपचाराधीन हैं। उनकी हालत स्थिर बताई जा रही है।

Empowering Tribal Communities Through Integrated Development!

Glad to attend the ‘Janjatiya Sankul Vikas Pariyojana, Maharashtra’ programme, in Mumbai today.

The Janjatiya Sankul Vikas Pariyojana is an important step towards taking integrated development to our tribal villages through convergence of government schemes, creating livelihood opportunities and reducing migration.

Maharashtra has allocated ₹25,000 crore for tribal development. The focus is on ensuring that these resources reach genuine beneficiaries and that implementation is properly monitored. Education, healthcare and employment are key to meaningful social transformation. Creating village-level employment can curb migration while ensuring continuity in children’s education and access to healthcare.

The approach to tribal development must expand from individual villages to focus on clusters of villages, improving livelihoods, generating sustainable employment and preventing migration. By better aligning Central and State resources, development efforts translate into deep, lasting impact on the ground. The recent agricultural successes in Nandurbar prove that this project is working well.

The Maharashtra Government will stand firmly behind the action plan prepared for this initiative.
