We’ve been part of @GitHub’s stacked diffs private beta for a while, and it has helped us move faster without sacrificing human review as AI accelerates software development.

I reverse-engineered the implementation so you can learn more about it's value. Here’s what I found:

Thanks to @jaredpalmer @sameenkarim and the team for pioneering this work.

Having tried and failed several times to use AI to recreate my own version of Kelly Slater’s Pro Surfer, I can confidently say your skill set is both highly valuable and much safer from AI than I my skillset as a software engineer hahah.

I appreciate your persistence and effort to date!

@pururajdutta While using the phone I keep noticing some low res pixely spots in the top left. This must be why

Has anyone else noticed on the iPhone 18 Pro that the resolution where the Face ID sensor is located is much worse than the rest of the screen?

The pixelation keeps catching my eye

[kane @kanecomino]

@cramforce You forgot “that’s not even the crazy part”

[kane @kanecomino]

@mustafa01ali Great read!
I loved the flex on using LLMs pre-ChatGPT 😅

@daicoszn cheers!

This took way too long to recreate on tier list maker so I made a quicker way to do it in case anyone wants to try themself. #GoDees

@SeanD174 @FlightPlanPod Arguably the extra week off could’ve allowed Lever and Jefferson to make their squad last night and it would’ve been a whole different ball game!

Although a lot of fans would’ve quietly hoped for the wildcard spot to lose a week on JVRs suspension.

[kane @kanecomino]

@anthonydever Ironically, the most Australian reaction

[kane @kanecomino]

@marclou @jonathan_wilke Would be ironic if they had to bid for top position

[kane @kanecomino]

@daicoszn What in the AI image generation is this?

[kane @kanecomino]

@LukeParkerDev Hey 👋🏼

[kane @kanecomino]

You've got to feel for them a bit. Imagine the strain on data centres in general.

Some crazy graphs of PR/commit growth on GitHub since 2023

@marclou When I first started composting I was so shocked at how many vegetables would sit in there for weeks and still look good enough to pick them up and eat them. When did it get so bad?!

[kane @kanecomino]

@thdxr what do you think the last corner of the world or last industry to adopt will be?

[kane @kanecomino]

Just an unfortunate incident all round. I've been on both ends of this and it all happens without any malice. Remove the slow motion replay and there's barely a few hundred milliseconds in it. I'm sure Aliir wouldn't hold any grudge. He was also incredibly brave to go back like that straight into JVRs path.

Given the AFL’s outcome-based history, if we could get it down to two weeks I would be impressed.
