It doesn’t make sense to get rid of the only pool in Vancouver capable of hosting swim competitions.
ABC by-election candidates Jaime Stein & Ralph Kaisers are calling on the Park Board to protect community recreation by ensuring the new Vancouver Aquatic Centre has a 50m pool.
I always wondered why #Vancouver is always car-centric. When construction is happening, they close the pedestrian sidewalk instead of closing a car lane.
@ParkBoard Can't wait for the Park Board's next move: to accommodate the aging population, they will get rid of all the swimming pools in Vancouver and replace them with hot tubs! Yay!
@TransLink I have noticed that #257 buses are always late departing the start stop at Dunsmuir. Foot passengers for BC ferries rely on this bus. I wonder if there are any solutions.
@TransLink The bus I was on did not stop there and I saw #10 bus stopped on Davie (kindly). If there is a stop on Howe, should the signage indicate that instead of sending them down to Nelson?
@daybreakjung Thank you for this! I was writing about 1987 and the song out of this poem came to my mind. I wondered why the song was so sad that my eyes got wet.
The former President Noh sang this song as a presidential candidate.
@jackhauen Vancouver is not different. It takes the same time to run to work than using a public transit (that is, if the bus is on time but the bus is never on time here).
@FraserInstitute Still very reasonable compared to US. (family of four instead of family of six, where does this number come from?) and the US stats does not include the government spending on health. https://t.co/938mWNQFVj
@toddnickel@runSRA_CIM Take easy three weeks and then start training!! 6 weeks building strengths+ 3 weeks peak training + 3 weeks tapering (one easy recovery week somewhere).
