How do chips actually work – starting with basic logic gates, and working up to why GPUs, TPUs, FPGAs, and the human brain each look the way they do.

The Dawkins scale is a useful framework for this discussion. Most Atheists I know, including Dawkins, put themselves around 6 on this scale.

Atheists are no different to me than theists, as they both are unreasonably confident in their unprovable beliefs. The only tenable position is agnosticism.
I'm not even sure it's not a simulation, so who am I to be sure of anything?
Either way, people who are sure they know scare me a little.

The path to peace in the Middle East is to STOP STARTING WARS WITH ISRAEL.
If you leave them alone, they will leave you alone. It really is that simple.
@el_nawser Hi there - assuming you were referring to ConfigMan OSD. That is now supported for Arm PCs. https://t.co/rU6fR4wQpU
You can also download the ISO from VLSC.
@awakecoding@el_nawser@jeremymoskowitz The feature works at the user level and therefore to me it makes sense that the policy also applies at the user level. If you don't want anyone in your enterprise running recall... apply the disable policy to all users.
What would the device wide setting accomlish beyond that?
@getwired @AaronKaravias @VeneziaLioness@htmella And we both have scars from that experiment :)
WinFS and Recall solve complimentary but different problems for the user. I agree the ideal system would combine attributes of both.
@AaronKaravias @VeneziaLioness @getwired @htmella It enables search for not just browsers but also powerpoint, word or any other application. Excluding IRM/DRM protected content or apps and pages the user adds to the exclusion list.
@Malazan_enjoyer @getwired @htmella Browser history search tends to be limited in how you can search and even if improved will only ever search the browser history. This extends across all applications.
@getwired @htmella Wes - if you are curious and want to see the feature in action: I will be at Build (900 Pine) from 9:30-1:30 today. DM me and we can meet in the convention center. Would love to talk to you. We can also meet on campus after build.
Offer open to Wes only.
